Abacco Hotel

Safe location , good place for parcking , big room

It's a car themed hotel, and it's really cool! The car specific art work in the common areas and rooms is fantastic. The location is a bit odd - sort of in an industrial complex. There's nothing right around the hotel so you aren't walking anywhere, but the hotel restaurant was fantastic. We had dinner there and it was very good. It's very modern and clean. The rooms were sort of "Euro-hotel comfortable"...which means not very. The beds were hard and small and the AC didn't really seem to be doing anything. It's just a few minutes away from the Porsche Museum and a few more away from the Mercedes Museum, and it's a perfect place to stay for visiting those sites. One side note - more for comedic value than anything: They're really funny about their towels. They have an indoor pool, and our 4-year old wanted to go swimming so we all decided to. There were no towels around the pool and only one in each room so I asked. They basically sell you towels at the front desk and then if you bring them back to the front desk they will refund your money. So we had to buy 4 towels and then return them wet to the front desk to get our money back. Somebody at corporate is really concerned about their towel budget.

Construction drilling started at 7:30 AM. Difficult to sleep. Should have been discounted significantly more given the fact that they are in the middle of a remodel.

Nice hotel. Great installations. Very confy bed and pillows. The bus stop in just in front on the hotel.

Generally a busy Hotel with corporate meetings. We had a free upgrade to a suite which was great and lovely comfortable bed. The Steakhouse Bar Restaurant is ideal for returning from the day out. The Hotel is in an industrial type area but great location for the Autobarn etc and just a few minutes away from Porsche,Mercedes and Bosch.

Pleasing experience overall. Gym is not that useful. Breakfast can be improved, but still ok. Rooms are decent size, we got 2 rooms with shared internal door that was very helpful. Staff is very accomodating and polite.

Good hotel, excellent restaurant, poor Wifi and the spa facilities are a bit small for such a large hotel. Further the room was too hot, the air con didnt do much difference

Ein Hotel für besonders für Businesskunden, von der Lage her eher verkehrsgünstig als schön oder zentral gelegen. Eine gelungene Renovierung eines äußerlich eher unattraktiven Gebäudes. Das Thema Auto/Porsche dominiert das Interieur.
