Hotel Blue Marlin

Very comfortable room. A/C was cold, bed was very comfortable. The place has a really cool vibe to it and we felt safe and secure the whole sta. You can't get a better location! Right off of main street and the beach it was easy to walk to restaurants, pharmacy, liquor store, grocery store, the casino, the beach, lots of good restaurants and everything. Breakfast at the Green Room next door was fantastic! We booked a fishing charter through the hotel they put us with a really good Captain and boat! We caught 6 huge sailfish, 2 big MahiMahi and 4 Yellowfin Tuna. Also booked a 4 hour ATV tour and Zip Line Canopy tour. Both were a lot of fun and I recommend these tours to everyone. Also recommend arranging your airport pickup and return through the hotel. Their vans are very nice, air conditioned and the drivers are super nice people. We'll be back to stay at Blur Marlin again. Pura Vida!

Very comfortable mattress - clean - location is perfect -  hot shower - no complaints!

I stayed 3 nights.  Everything was great and I felt very safe there.  Great deal for the money.  Staff was attentive and very nice. Best location.  Super nice/clean rooms and big pool.  They also organized my airport transfers which made things easy for me. Don't hesitate to stay here!!  

Great location in middle of town. Very clean.  Secure and safe. Good wifi. Great staff. Comfortable beds. Nice pool. Near beach and 1 minute walk to Cocal Casino.

Location. Location. Location - IN DOWNTOWN CLOSE TO EVERYTHING - I walked everywhere!!  Super nice room with cold a/c.  Nice tv but most channels where is Spanish....a few in English though.  Comfortable mattress which is a big deal for me.  Big bathroom/shower.  Security safe for my passport/$$. Good wifi at the pool/room that I enjoyed.  Maid kept room spotless and gave me extra towels for the pool too. The beach was a very close walk and it was next door to a great restaurant called Green Room.  Cocal Casino is about a 1 minute walk away on the same small street.  Staff was great - Thanks Fransisco and Alejandro for your hospitality.   I will stay here again!

The property owner was a cool guy. However, it was a surprise to not have a t.v. in the room. Also, no maid service during our stay. I had to empty my own trash bins. The rooms were fine and the location was great.

This hotel was just recently remodeled and the rooms were absolutely top notch. The pool area is very nice and has a pool bar. The hotel is centrally located with restaurants and bars right there. Hotel security is a top priority for management and the entire hotel staff made me feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Jaco’ . The beach is a minute walk from your front door. Absolutely enjoyed my visit. A big shout out to the entire staff. Thank you!

What an unexpected surprise! The hotel is located practically next door to the Cocal Casino and Party - guest friendly too! The beach was close and the location was in the middle of town close to everything! Rooms were big, nice and comfortable! Staff was great.
