Motel pulled room charges 2 days before arrival. Unreported mandatory deposit - separate from room charges. Physical condition of room was poor - rusted holes in sink basin. Large split in ceiling over tub. No screen on room's walk out patio door on ground floor and area not secured. No blanket on bed. Double sized cover on king size bed. Towels exchanged every three days.
bloodstains on bedspread, dirty windows, bed was not made, dusty furniture. As a plus there was a easy to handle coffeemaker, a microwave and a refrigeratur.
Front desk attendant’s attitude very deplorable and the sliding door to the parking lot was not easy to slide.
I didn’t like the way the check in person was handling things while I was checking in. She was kind of rude.
The lights in the room are not bright enough. Interior furniture and decorations look old and cheap.
I needed to be in Tucson for work and chose this motel because of the location. I stopped by 3 times to request a room upstairs on the back. The first male desk clerk was pleasant and told me I should talk to the manager, Tammy. The second desk clerk was a woman who was obviously in pain and having a terrible day - she told me I could stop in early the day of my check-in to request the room I wanted. The 3rd time Tammy was there, and she announced I was on the ground floor in the back, no upstairs rooms available. That night when I checked in, I had the same miserable-looking female desk clerk, who then told me they were not renting upstairs rooms at all. The room I got had a stain on the bedspread and smears on the walls. There was a wet splotch on the carpet. Road noise from the interstate all night. In the morning, I happened to glance down and there was my driver's license shoved under the door; the clerk had forgotten to give it back when I checked in. And, while it was good that she did return it, maybe a call or a knock at the door to alert me? I'm glad I noticed it on the floor in the morning.
Overall the experience was good for a one night stay. However, upon paying for the room through Hotels.com it gave me an option to "pay in full" or "pay with a deposit" explaining if I paid with my card in full there would be no deposit. It also showed we could check in as early as 9am. Once we reached Tucson at about 12:30pm we tried to check in where the staff quickly tried to charge us an additional $30 "early check in fee" PLUS a deposit! I asked what time check in actually was and they stated 3pm and we decided to come back. When we came back after 3pm check in was fine but we did still have to pay a $50 deposit for the room which was a bit annoying since the booking stated that wouldn't be something I'd have to do with how I made my payment. The room quality was fine for the price we paid, it wasn't disgusting or smelly in any way and we checked the bed with no issues. Again overall it was a good stay but I think Hotels.com should update their info with these hotels a bit more frequently.
Bed had no comforter. Only a bedspread. I asked for one and it never arrived. Had to sleep in my clothes.
In room smoke detector was missing. Elevator must have been a hundred years old. Made this horrible grinding noise when it reached the second level.
we never smoke in the room, Tammy the manager told me that the room smells, just because she doesn't want to give us back our deposit, and also they don't clean your room for three days. very very bad sevices
