Hotel am Havelufer Potsdam

Warm, comfortable, convenient for us. We, and several other guests, had to wait for a space in the breakfast room before we could have breakfast on more than one day. The room is big enough for more tables - the management should invest in some, especially as they encourage people to come from outside for breakfast, and the breakfasts at Eur.16 are rater expensive.

The service overall was good. The people at tge reception was very helpful. When we wanted upgrade our room ,it was done swiftly wirh no issues. The location of the hotel facing the river and close to station is very good as well. The rooms though were not clean for regular standards. The both room capets were stained. The same for toilettes and bathroom tiles ,moldy and dirty. It is a good idea not to service the rooms for the days the customer don't require it and give tgem vouchers to use but when they clean the rooms, they should do it properly. The thin pillows were not also comfortable. Only one provided. When we tried to have dinner at the restaurant, we were turned back 2 nites in a row. Maybe, language barrier. We were told they were full when in reality, they were empty an hour later. We were not asked if we wanted to reserve for another evening. It was as if we were not wanted. The feeling we got..

The hotel was nice but on arrival, I was informed the twin room I had booked months in advance was not available and I was expected to share a bed with my work colleague. They did, in the end, upgrade the room although one of us still had to sleep on a camp bed. Would suggest they don't take the money in advance of the booking if they aren't able to provide the room that was requested.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage und der Blick über die Havel und der Landschaft ist hervorragend! Das Hotel ist modern und praktisch eingerichtet und durch die Lage sehr ruhig. Das Hotel ist sauber, Desinfektionsmittel ausreichend vorhanden. Der Preis für das gebotene Frühstück ist zu hoch, erst Recht die Kosten für den Aussenstellplatz. Mir wurde morgens am Reisetag noch den vollen Tarif berechnet!

Die Einstein Suite mit Whirlpool und Sauna sowie der fantastischen Terrasse mit Blick auf die Havel hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Das Mobilar ist in die Jahre gekommen.Der Teppichboden in Zimmer 332 ist stark fleckig. Die Zimmerbar leer. Allgemein hätten wir den Eindruck, dass das Haus dringend einer Renovierung bedarf.

Keine Minibar/Kühlschrank Teppichware im Zimmer Schimmelreste am Boden in der Dusche Frühstücksangebot war einfach, Brot-Wurst-Käsesorten „günstig“ und wurde wenig nachgelegt

wir haben nur in diesem Hotel geschlafen, nicht am Frühstück teilgenommen. Standart Doppelzimmer, sowie Bad hatten keinen Wohlfühlcarakter, war in Ordnung. aber in einem 4 Sternehotel erwartet man mehr. Mobiliar, Türen renovierungsbedürftig.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Havel und hat eine super Verkehrsanbindung (Tram- und Bushaltestelle). Auch genügend Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung.

Hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Vor allem das Bad wäre reif für eine Renovierung. Frühstück haben wir nicht getestet, zu Corona-Zeiten in Schichten organisiert. Zusätzliche Parkplatzkosten 10 EUR.
