Where is the ice ???????

Terrible. While the COVID measures are simple and easy to follow, they did not tell me that I had to check in at another sister property. That was a 20 min walk one way and that didnt help that it was high noon. Then the room key didnt work so had to walk that one twice while apparently isolating. Then the ice drama. No ice machines were working so had to rely on the ice maker built in the fridge in the room. This never worked. Called for ice to be room serviced, this wasn’t possible so spent the first 24 hrs with no ice for my drinks. The next morning they came to ‘look’ at the ice maker ( thats exactly what they did) and then said its fixed and lets give it time to work. Well a few hours later there was no ice still and I rang them up again. This time the operator had the gall to tell me that it was my fault since I wasnt in the room for engineering to follow up on the ice maker. Like thats the reason one pays 300 usd a night to facilitate their broken furnishings. Asked for the manager to call me and he/she never did. they did bring me a bucket of ice on the second day but since my freezer wouldnt freeze it quickly melted. In summary I paid for 4 days of vacation and spent everyday talking/explaining/begging for some ice. Warm beers and drinks the whole period.

Family vacation during COVID

We stayed one week at the Divi Dutch and we’re glad for the break. Overall the room itself was comfortable but I hate that we were placed on the third floor with no elevators. We requested a first floor and never received it because the other rooms were unavailable because they had not been sanitized. The rooms are large, newly renovated and fully stocked with pots and pans for those who want to cook while on vacation. The toilet and shower had their issues. Toilet way too close to the wall and shower missing a door so every time you shower the floor gets wet. They have a golf cart shuttle service that takes you to the beach and golf areas and restaurants. We ate at Mulligans once for breakfast and dinner and we enjoyed it. Same with Pure Beach at a sister resort twice. What I did not like was the lack of a sense of security in the property as it was right on the road and people off the road can come and use the pools which I think they did. Also a lot of traffic noise which woke the baby a few times engines and bikes revving. The concrete and potholes on the property need to be addressed. I would stay here again only if I could be guaranteed a room farther from the road, beachfront and first floor. It is a timeshare resort mainly and I assume they rent the available rooms but I did not feel it was a good bargain for what I paid.

Customer service and staff was excellent. They are remodeling part of the resort. Wasn't a problem for us. The only thing we disliked was if you didn't go all inclusive your dinning choices were limited. For my wife and I the all inclusive price was too much for what we could enjoy.

The daily cleaning service was not provided due to Covid 19. However thy should have made exceptions due to each time we took a shower the bathroom floor was flooded with water. The shower area does not have a full door only a half glass so each shower created water accumulation outside the shower. We were stuck with wet towels on the floor and I had to call for service. It took two days for them to visit the room to clean the water. The check in at this location was closed the entire visit. We had to drive to another Divi resort to check in then drive back to our resort.

Overall property is nice. One of the three pools were closed, non of the ice machines worked, and they also had the desk at the divi Dutch closed, therefore you had to go up to divi golf to get anything. I’ll toss it up to covid I guess but still an inconvenience , especially when I’m spending all the money I am to go here, for a third year in a row, may try a different place next year. However, all the bar staff at the tiki bar were great! Support those people! Hardly anyone at the pools and restaurants

My suite was right at the pool and beach. It was also nice to have a grilling unit to use as well.

Amazing white beach, amazing emerald water, great service, wonderful environment, feels like you are in heaven. Expensive food all over the island.

Loved that it was right by the beach and my hotel room had a beautiful pool out the back. Overall the grounds could’ve been more clean. There was construction taking place in some parts but it wasn’t squared off or anything. The beach bar’s drinks were good and the food was OK. The best food was the breakfast at the one of the restaurants, I forgot. The brunch restaurant was good.
