Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

Really like to concept of Hard Rock. My family and self had a wonderful time. However, the food and beverages need some improvement.

My husband lives in Cancun and every time I visit him with the kids we go for a few days to a hotel !!! This is the worst hotel o have been to . We booked 2 deluxe rooms when we got in the rooms were dirty with bugs in the bath showers and on the beds , the sheets were damp the room smelled of moist , after the manager came and 2 hours later they gave us 2 other rooms on the third floor , we slept there and in the morning had bed bugs bites on our bodies , we were so figurâtes this is the first time we have such a bad experience, here is a couple of pics I took of the rooms

We really enjoyed our stay, food is very good, service also very good (not as good as other resorts we’ve stayed at ie Excellence Playa Mujeres, Secrets DeVine & Hyatt Ziva). Only complaint compared to the previous resorts is that they do not have a hospitality room and they charge $30usd after 3 pm on your check out day, usually hotels let you stay until you have to go to the airport for a late flight at no charge. This is a dealbreaker for me, will not stay at HR again because of that. But we really enjoyed our stay and the food. Great beach as well and the slides are fun.

Nice beach areas, nice spa, great gym and that’s where the positives stop. Butler “service” pathetic, room had water leaks and they finally repaired and it left the smell of intoxicating glue in the room for hours. Management and taking responsibility for poor service and responding to our concerns was non-existent. The guarantee of having management contact us on 3 separate occasions never took place. We love Riviera Maya, but the Hard Rock was a huge disappointment.

It’s very much a family resort. The food is terrible, but the staff is kind.

Best all inclusive we’ve been to! Food and drinks were great! Service is top notch and there are so many things to do around the resort for adults and kids. Will definitely be back and bringing the kids with us next time!

This vacation far exceeded our expectations! We have never stayed at a resort, we’ve only done cruises. We were blown away with the friendliness of the staff. The resort itself was so clean and easy to get around. There was never a shortage of food but if I could change one thing about the food, I wish they would offer more snack options. I would have loved pretzels or chips or popcorn, something like that. The breakfast buffet was delicious, the dinner buffet was mediocre. I wish we would have realized sooner in our trip that the restaurants that required reservations had exceptional food! The lagoon was gorgeous and safe but my husband was hoping to be able to snorkel in the actual ocean. There is no access to the open ocean at the resort. When we first arrived, we were approached by at least 3 staff all at once. One wanted us to make our dinner reservations, one wanted to sell us a time share and one actually was there to help us check in. After a full day of travel and wanting to just get to our room and hit the pool, it was a little overwhelming. We ignored the time share guy and then he called us, twice, the next morning and woke us up. I wasn’t too thrilled about that. Other than that, zero complaints! If you can, try to rent a cabana for the day. The Cabana boys were outstanding. Although it’s an all inclusive and “gratuities are included”, we did tip here and there for the wait staff that brought our drinks, the waiters at dinner and our cabana boys.

this place is so over-priced, rooms, pools, food is not what I expected for $300 USD per night. There are so many more luxurious hotels for half the price

It was all a big mess and no one did what they said to help out. And when I finally got my room. When bell service took us to the door and I open it with my electric key. To our surprise, there were people in thy room. Just really bad service
