Vail Marriott Mountain Resort

I loved the shower products they smelled amazing! I loved the location and I loved the hotel itself. The spa however was a bit disappointing. The massage was just ok and the relaxing rooms were very boring. Not much to be excited about.

A bit frustrating to not be able to use the pool at all while there. I was also charged twice for this stay and have yet to see that reimbursement come through.

Very few amenities for the resort fee that is charged. Front desk service is poor. Rooms are nice.

We understand that we were vacationing during an unprecedented time with Covid. However it was disappointing that the resort offered so few services and was clearly understaffed. No bellman, no house keeping, no concierge, and since when do I need to request that my room come with a hair dryer. We had to take out our own trash and replenish our own towels. The front desk person was overwhelmed. I believe Marriott should have waived the $40 a night parking fee as a courtesy since other typical services were not included. If I had known this was Marriott's policy on Covid, I would have stayed elsewhere.

Location, lively, nice gym. Pleasant when I switched rooms.

Only problem was valet parking failing to bring car up for checkout. Otherwise great service.

The cleaning staff cleaned our rooms the 1st day but missed the next 2 days. It wasn’t until we made them aware did they clean on the 4th day of our stay. The breakfast staff was also incredibly slow seemingly paying more attention to cleaning up tables than waiting on guest’s tables (even though there lots of empty table).

Hotel and services were excellent. We went during NYE 2020 and had an amazing time! Short walk to the Lionshead gondola with ski-valet services made it easy and convenient for skiing with kids. Also in-hotel rental service through rentskis.com made it seamless to rent and avoid lines. Complimentary car service and shuttle stop in front of hotel, made it easy to get around Vail. You do not need a car rental unless you plan to take trips outside. Outdoor pool/hot-tub only, No indoor hot-tub, which would have been nice, as we did not venture out into the cold. Nice pub-restaurant with great food, nightly entertainment and live music adjacent to lobby gave the hotel a nice happening vibe and kept us happy, smiling and from venturing out into the cold on a few nights. For Marriott Bonvoy members they had a special Ski Apres reception one night with complimentary drinks and food which was much appreciated and really nice touch. During our stay the rooms were kept clean, concierge and overall all services were great. Overall was a great stay and would do it again!
