Hotel Berlin Central District

We were supposed to have a family trip to Eastern Europe. Covid 19 hit the world and everything was closed. They cancelled our flights (refunded) and our hotels. (All refunded except this hotel! Wouldn't even do a voucher for our rescheduled trip next summer). Very disappointed with their customer service when a world-wide pandemic isn't even a good enough reason for a refund.

This hotel is in a perfect location for visiting sights in aBerlin. It is very comfortable and quiet with a good breakfast and excellent bar. The staff are friendly, helpful, and all speak English. I won’t stay anywhere else my next time in Berlin!

The location was quiet, no restaurants or grocery nearby but a major train station is only a 15 minute walk away. The room was very spacious and modern.

Our stay was for three nights and we used very little of the hotel facilities so can't say too much about them. The room was very comfortable and warm. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The shower and bath had plenty of hot water when required. WiFi was free but limited to one device per room occupant. Down sides were a limited amount of hot drink making supplies in the room and only three power outlets. Also, there are no USB connections available for your devices so bring an adapter plug. The Hotel is located close to a number of city attractions and about a 10 minute walk from Potsdamer Platz U station. I would recommend using the Berlin Welcome card and the public transport system. Overall I'd recommend the Maritim Hotel and would stay there again.

Room was very dusty and left me itching and coming out in hives. We asked for new linen but that didn’t change a thing. I was there only form 1 night so had grin and bare it.

Very comfortable hotel, high class and good service. But - location is not great. You will need either a car or a scooter

I only stayed one night. The people who work there are nice and helpful , especially at the reception. The room is big consider as a hotel in Berlin, which usually has tiny rooms. There is also mini bar, electric kettle and safety box. But I cannot really sleep, because the mattress is really hard. I am a picky person when it comes to sleeping. I can sleep almost everywhere but for a 4-star hotel I expected for a more convenience.
