Holiday Resort Lombok

I liked the hotel, it was great for a small family. They have a range of pool depths and places for kids. The overall cleanliness was great around the hotel grounds, however the kids play room was old and dated and not so clean. There was also some sort of rodent in the bathroom ceiling. The buffet breakfast was great, lots of variety and fresh crêpes, pancakes, tempura and eggs on demand. Room decor is aging but still good. Service at the hotel by staff were friendly and helpful. However service at the Gecko restaurant at the hotel was not good.

The grounds are beautiful, lush and clean. The pools are fantastic. The room was dated and worn, but spacious. There were a couple of maintenance issues, both were fixed soon after we called them in. The light switches are very annoyingly all located in one central console by the bed, we absolutely hated that. Breakfast was decent. WiFi was pitiful with frequent disconnects, slowness and repeated login prompts. We soon switched to mobile data. The location is a bit removed from restaurants and shops, requiring a ride to go anywhere. Grab rates here are significantly higher than in other parts of the island.

Well appointed and good facilities. Great that there are family rooms with 2 bathrooms and separate bedrooms on opposite sides of the living area BUT the family rooms are across the road so its a walk from those rooms to pool/beach area. Although well appointed, staff need coaching in service. Empty bottles/glasses at pool and staff present but not taking initiative to tidy up. Very well priced, especially for the facilities but could do better in service.

Pros: Friendly staff, spacious room and nice beach. Cons: wild animals (suspiciously mouse) are living on the ceiling and make noise during nights. Need to be controlled.

The grounds were beautiful, the two bedroom suite was spacious,and the restaurant and pool were a hit with the kids. Kids club was never open during our stay and WiFi was unreliable.

Nice lay out excellent location on the beach with potential surf. Only hour boat ride to Gilli T. Breakfast was good. Wifi was not the best.

Really enjoyed my stay here. the grounds are beautiful and the pools are great. The staff are absolutely lovely. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. So much choice there is something for everyone’s taste. Items are topped up and replaced quickly. The pool bar is excellent and open later than the main swimming pool which does close at 8pm. So great for adults. We were first in the two bedroom units across the road but they are a bit tired inside and a bit far away from the reception, pool and restaurant. We asked to change. Resort was so accommodating and we were instantly moved at no extra cost to two rooms close to the pool. Housekeeping staff are very friendly, efficient and speedy. The staff were amazing, they helped in every way poor

I would stay here again due to its excellent location on the beach. The property is older and this shows however we had a beautiful relaxing stay. One thing I would say is they need a smoking area as a non smoker I do not want to be relaxing by the pool smelling other peoples smoke. Selfish people smoking by the breakfast area while people were still eating their breakfast was wrong. Children being subjected to smokers was also disappointing. Overall we really liked this hotel. For value for money it was excellent.

The staff are amazing, nothing is ever too much trouble. The resort is lovely
