Escale Oceania Marseille Vieux Port

Helpful staff were welcoming and offered an early check in when we arrived early expecting to leave luggage for normal check in time. Somewhat tired hotel but great location

Walk toward the port and just a few blocks away found lots of great places to eat.

This hotel is a three-star hotel, but with four star service. I cannot express how wonderful the staff is, especially "Catherine" and "Annabelle" at the front desk. Catherine was wonderful organizing tours for us and Annabelle saved me when my debit card got caught in the ATM bank slot (next to the hotel). The hotel is in a PRIME location in the View Port of Marseille. Good buffet breakfast, clean comfortable rooms. Marseille has some "tricky" areas, but I felt very safe here and you are literally in the middle of the Old Port area of Marseille with all the restaurants, walking & tourist areas at your front door. Location is A+. Everything is great except the internet. It is extremely weak. The room was very large and very clean.

Located in the middle of Marseille's Port Vieux. It is near a lot of restaurants, the subway exits are just beside the hotel, and has a great view of the city at night. Value for money.
