Super 8 by Wyndham San Antonio/Alamodome Area

Had a nice stay at this location but please pay more attention to the sheets and blankets. They have stains most times.

Room deadbolt wouldn't engage,response from management was to lift the door so holes will match up so it will engage. He obviously has never lifted a fire-rated hotel room door:( Electrical outlet plate (1), missing in room.Interior of room looks nice but reusing the old yellowed light switch plates and electrical outlet covers offsets the "newness" of the decor. Bathtub had been "rebathed" or re-coated with several points of rust coming through the new coating. Check-in time of 3PM!!! Really?

The hotel front desk agent was great. He was very informative and inviting. Made the long trip I just had not so bad. Clean rooms. Good beds. The breakfast is very limited. Cereal and waffles. No bagels and other items that the same comparable hotels offer but if you want a good breakfast there is a good restaurant a stones throw away from the parking lot. Indoor pool was clean. A/C cools the room quickly. I will stay here again in the future. 7 minutes to downtown San Antonio.

The overall hotel was hot, no air conditioning in the halls. The room was hot, until I turned on the unit. The sheets were dirty. The breakfast was not so great.
