I wouldn’t recommend the hotel the staff were unapproachable and discriminating they overbooked my room for the night bearing in mind I booked a year ago and they were still checking people in they were unsympathetic and rude the food was average room was ok I developed d&v along with my roommate wasn’t the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in and for what I paid I expected a lot better I cannot get over the service I received from this hotel it was upsetting and I couldn’t wait to go home! You couldn’t cough without being looked at badly will not be retiring save yourself some money plenty of other hotels on the area that are nicer!

This is our second stay at La Niña and it didn’t disappoint. Really friendly staff, hotel convenient to the beach; good variety of food at each mealtime; fabulous view (we paid for a sea view and 8 think its worth the extra). We are beach-goers so don’t tend to use the pool, but it looked well kept. We generally don’t bother with the evening entertainment or kids clubs (my child has never wanted to join in) but this time we really enjoyed the entertainment- some great acts - acrobats, Charlie Chaplin act and Mister Sister (a family friendly drag act which was fabulous) and my son joined in the kids games for once and really enjoyed them. The children’s club staff were fabulous. Another fab holiday and we will definitely be back.

Hotel decor amazing. Food amazing Didn’t like how some guests in the same category “all inclusive “ were favoured over others.

Been going there for 10 years I will not be going back

It was obvious there were staff cutbacks as the place hardly got cleaned, shame cos I'd heard good reports. Great location though and lovely views from higher rooms.

Booked a none smoking double room with sea view. None smoking because wife has asthma. Was given a smoking room with single beds then moved to a room with no sea view. Reception said it’s our fault that we spend too much time in the room.

Food really lets the hotel down, certainly not 4*, beautiful pastries and deserts but evening meal choices were poor and mass produced chips, nuggets, hot dogs. Ate out 4 out of the 5 nights and we were all inclusive. Rooms are lovely and fresh we upgraded to family room for a sitting area, clean although bathrooms dated and old fashioned hairdryer bolted to the wall with 30cm cable. Our fault for forgetting a hairdryer. Stayed before and enjoyed but really felt this year that I was disappointed. One half of the already small pool was closed for maintenance, spa was closed. Also small point for British tourists. Our etiquette of queueing for reception or the grill in the restaurant makes no difference the Spanish guests will get served first. Not the staff fault but very frustrating at reception when you’ve been queueing for a 20 minutes and Spanish guests literally just jump in front. Happened a lot during our stay.
