The Westin Arlington Gateway

Disappointed. Not as clean as mentioned. And it's a nice hotel.

I’m a big fan of the Westin Hotels, I love the accommodations and the staff goes out of their way to make your stay like being home with service. Always a pleasure and love the location with the eatery’s in the area!

When i arrived to room, the room was dirty and had not been cleaned. They downsized us to a double room and stated that the king size rooms were unavailable. They refused to move us to a king size room the next day stating the room was unavailable. Also when we left to go out and returned the the rooms werent cleaned. The front desk stated you have to request to have your room cleaned daily

I stayed New Year's Eve night. It was fine until a party started in the room next to mine. I asked to be moved and the front desk assured me I was being moved to an empty floor, but then a party started on that floor next to my room too. So I did not sleep well and did not get quality support from the hotel staff.

Nice stay would come back

overall good stay only issue was they hotel sold out of the type of room that i reserved prior to check in

The stay was comfortable and place was nicely cleaned.

I accidentally booked the wrong night (Saturday- Sunday checkout) when I meant to do Friday-Saturday Checkout, the receptionist was really nice and helped accommodate us stay our intended night.

Very nice hotel for a great price! Service was terrific.

For food, all we wanted were apps, but they were outstanding. Room and desk service were great. BUT ... Getting out of the parking garage was a huge problem. They don't tell you that there are TWO exits, nor that one of these is NOT for Westin guests. So we head for signs that say "EXIT." Who would do otherwise, right? Now, this underground garage is a labyrinth to put it mildly. We go ahead and follow the exit signs, then end up at the wrong exit. Okay, there's a number by the gate for calling the desk clerk (smart). We tried the number but there is no cell service in this underground garage (not smart) I see a house phone on a nearby wall and reach the desk clerk. He says he'll open the gate for me. So, back in the car again, waiting for the gate. Two, three minutes and ... nothing. Now a security guard for the OTHER tenant at this facility (not Westin) tells us Westin has its OWN gate. Did Westin inform us of this? No. Most garages are laid out with some symmetry, usually roughly in the shape of a spring, so that you wind around the spring to go from level to level. Not this one. Like I've said, it's a labyrinth. So, back around this rat-maze of a parking garage, and eventually we find the correct gate out of sheer luck. Locked. As luck would have it, the desk clerk appeared, but to check on something else. He opened the gate and we were gone. WESTIN: Leave a helpful note near the garage elevators, plus BIG signs and arrows that say: "WESTIN GATE." Thanks.
