Dominican Fiesta Hotel & Casino

I love the location and service of this hotel. it is in the city and still you have many accommodations resorts would have. It is a little old but i really recommend it. i love the breakfast every time i go there.

The hotel was amazing, and the staff superb. The room was clean and the overall look of the hotel as well. Great place!!!

Excellent location, large grounds, safe, quiet part of city. Nice partial ocean views from high floors. Large, deep water, (12ft) , pool. Secure, gated parking area. Easy access to oceanfront road which takes you to Colonial part of city. Very good Wifi and restaurant on site. Supermarket is walking distance, (250m or 3-5 minutes). Lower floors have balconies, upper floors have windows which you can open for fresh air.

Hotel room was comfortable, walls were peeling though., and cleaning staff was great. The breakfast was definitely a home run. The initial check in was OK, but we ran in to issues with the property trying to charge us $45 extra per day per person that wanted to come and visit. Their resolution was for me to cancel my reservation with Hotels.com, and rebook directly with them for $30 additional more, per day. I said no, they said for me to call them and have an additional guest added to my reservation, even if they were not an actual guest that would be occupying a bed space or sleeping there. After all that drama, they finally stopped insisting and allowed my one family member to visit at no charge. Whomever is calling the shots at this hotel needs to be fired. You can tell all the staff, from housekeeping to doormen, to guest svc, to restaurant staff were very supportive and friendly. The "Boss" that never gave his/her face never once came to deal with us directly, only sent front guest svc, which was unfair to the staff that was professional and just trying to do their job. The "boss" needs to take a new course in customer service, or learn from his/her employees how to problem solve. I ran in to 3 other guest whom were all experiencing other issues with the hotel. There are other options for stay, this place is good for a quick local stay, not for long term. I applaud all the staff that tried to make my stay better, but upper management needs to be replaced.

Large secure grounds with 7 tennis courts, (4 clay & 3 hard surface). Practice soccer field and a basketball court. Deep water pool, (12ft) and childrens shallow pool. Lounge chairs and umbrellas. Lots of free parking. Buffet breakfast has lots of choice. (fruit, bacon/sausage, eggs, cereal, bread/buns & pasteries and more).

The customer service was terrible. The rooms need an update there’s a lot of humidity and the smell of humidity was terrible. They charged me a late check out fee for 10 min. There’s so much better options for the same price or even less.
