Cameron Highlands Resort

This small luxury hotel had excellent service. They always had a smile on their face.

The staff was warm & friendly but basic amenities like the cistern pump or hot/cold shower faucet needs attention. Not the kind of find I would expect from this hospitality chain.

Very nice hotel, staff well trained. Read some reviews before and CANNOT confirm rooms on the road side to be loud. They are normal loud. Very nice room with 2 bedrooms.

The hotel left me with a mixed feelings. There are some really good things and some real issues. The common areas are all very nicely finished and there is a wow factor on entry. The service from the staff varies from excellent to appalling and there seems to be nothing in between. The furniture in the rooms are in good condition, the mattress comfy and linen clean and crisp. However, the bathroom requires some love, with the wooden skirtings rotted, fan sounds like a jet plane and toilets are stained. The water is rarely hot and showers are fresh but not unbearable. The other bug bear is no curtains, just privacy nets. The main issue is access. The hotel is located on a busy road and from 7:30 am through to 10:30 pm the road is filled with cars and bikes. The noise from the road carries loud into the room and it can be a challenge to exit the premises as people don’t let you out. There is also very limited parking on site and you have to get creative. The hotel is not particularly accessible for those with mobility restrictions as there are steep stairs to the entry and there are no elevators inside.

Before staying at Cameron Highlands Resort, I have much higher expectation, but actually, it just reaches a minimum standard. I stayed at the Signature Suite, which's the highest category. The bedroom is not quite spacious, but limited place. The most unacceptable part is that all rooms are facing to the main road, which makes very big noise in the evening when the motor vehicles are passing along the road. I don't really like the washroom which's small and humid. The service is standard, but not awesome. I need to wait for additional two hours, even though I pay for money to upgrade my room. The bartender is so cool without smile. If you ask me to stay one more night, I'd better to choose other options.

Very nice Colonial setting. Quaint looking with a lot of charm. Only downside was noise from the main road

Spacious room in a beautiful heritage building. Very nice dining experience, including semi-buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and fine dining. Joined the Jim Thompson mystery trail, which was complimentary for in-house guests. This was an unforgettable experience that my first time to have a jungle walk! Quite challenging and not for beginners.

It was ok- The hotel is old, and so there was no lift access to upper floor, which was a problem for me as I have problems with my joints. The room was also too warm and there was only a ceiling fan in the living room, and no air conditioning. They need to install this pronto, as cameron highlands is not as cool as one may think! The Hotel ads should point out the lack of lift access in particular!
