Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa South/Bixby

Great and convenient as usual. This is our place when visiting Bixby.

I frequently stay at the Hampton Inn. Usually encounter pleasant staff. The front desk person who check me was unfriendly. the carpet in the room had a big stain. I was given an accessible room which I didn’t request. I was told I could the switch. But the desk clerk accommodated the customer a head me who just checked in then wanted to change floors witch was done The bed was very uncomfortable.

The first room we checked into smelled like stale urine & wet animal. The guy at the desk very respectfully moved us to another room with the same smells, just a little less stinky. We decided to go with it because he said they had allowed animals in this year - so they probably all stink! We asked for a room clean with towels the next day, but nobody came to clean or replace towels. We called & the gentleman asked who we had talked to & kindly delivered towels. This guy is as THE ONLY person who would help us or do any work in the hotel. Poor guy needed help! NONE of that ladies we talked to would help us or get anything done - one stood behind the counter & wouldn’t check us in. She waited 15 min till this guy came to do it who had to do everything! I felt really bad for him!

Bed was comfy. But room was dim. I hate dim rooms. Makes me wonder what the hotel is hiding. Give me bright, light airy rooms. Put in bright lights. Paint walls a white or super light color so light bounces off. Did i say i hate dim rooms. Ugh! Other than that, a good nights rest.

Only negative was lack of parking

Clean room and pleasant staff.

Nice stay overall, but the pool remains closed, daily room maintenance remains suspended and the only operating ice machine was on the 1st floor (all COVID issues) Also the door handle fell off the door causing a temporary lock i until I reattached it.

We Really enjoyed our stay.The room was very nice and cleaned. Keep up the good Job. The lady at the from was a very nice lady and helped us.

The hotel was very clean and in an awesome location. The staff was very courteous and the hotel had plenty of parking and good lighting outside. The beds were clean and comfortable but the covers left something to be desired. The flat sheet seemed like it was for a double bed instead of a queen. I was disappointed that the pool closed at 6:00, which was only a couple hours after our arrival. We were pleased overall and would stay there again.

Hotel is perfectly adequate. Could use some updating but seems well run despite all the Covid restrictions
