Found some hair on the bed and my room door would not lock when I left. You could push the door open w no keycard. Once inside I could push and use the inside lock. The worst part of my experience here was that I saw a mouse in my room. Honestly I probably would not have stayed if it saw it the evening we checked in. Staff was pleasant but when I mentioned this to the cleaning crew they did not seemed surprised. When I mentioned this to the front desk they told me to call Monday and they were not management and could not do anything for me aside from taking my information down. I sat in the lobby until I checked out.

We were very disappointed with the unfriendliness of the staff. And the pool was open but not the hot tub, which was also disappointing, as we used a hot tub as one of our search categories for hotels in the Goshen-Elkhart area. The room was clean and that was the only thing we liked.

The room was very large and even included a couch. The light and the fan in the bathroom were interconnected electrically, and the fan was very loud when the switch was turned on. It would be better to have two switches--one for the light and the other for the fan.

When we arrived, the outside temperature was 90 degrees. In the room, the thermostat was turned off and the temp. was 89 degrees. Our second we were gone from early morning until late evening and when we arrived back at our room the bed was still unmade, the trash can was still full, and there were still damp, dirty wash cloths on the side of the tub. The maid also only bothered to give us one clean wash cloth and one clean towel. On the final day, while we were packing i found a small cockroach crawling up along. I have stayed at other Comfort Suites before and always been fairly pleased with them. NOT this time. Hell will freeze over before I stay here again!

I was concerned about travelling in the current pandemic situation, but the staff did everything possible to make it feel normal. Hot breakfast wasn't an option, but the hotel had a nice variety of prepackaged options for breakfast, so we didn't go hungry. The room was well appointed and comfortable. It was a nice stay.

My niece cut her foot in the pool and they said it felt like they were stepping on stuff on the bottom of the pool.So I’m not sure if it’s getting cleaned properly,I made them get out after that.Also I understand that covid-19 is going around but I thought that it would be more then just bagels for breakfast.The kids were really disappointed.There are ways to still have a descent SAFE breakfast while all this is going on.
