Days Inn Lake Okeechobee

Good value for the money. Could use some touch up painting on door jambs. We had a four-poster bed in the room, only they cut off the foot-board posts and left it looking a little tacky. But side tables were above-quality design - not the typical motel style furniture. Room air conditioner was quite noisy for my taste. Restaurant on-site was not open, I assume due to Covid, but looked like an excellent option for dining in the area. Very nice natural surroundings as opposed to a hotel on the main drag. Staff went through the effort to wrap breakfast plates individually so you could at least get hot biscuits and gravy or eggs and sausage. Nice selection of breakfast options in this limited environment. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay while in town. Loved the fact you can roam off to the back of the property to the docks and fish on your own time or just simply relax! Beautiful on the water if you enjoy nature. Also, have a little sitting area out by pool or off to the side to catch a breath of fresh air! We will be back.

Overall it wasn't bad. There is a very nice dock/pier out back with a nice view and a bar. This is were my main issue is. This bar has a full kitchen that isn't used and there is no other food on the property. At the time of our stay the road out front was under construction which made it very inconvenient to leave the property for dinning purposes. This left only limited delivery options. As for the bar itself. It is not very well stocked for anyone looking just just have a few drinks and hang out. Everyone who came in didn't stay longer than a drink or 2. Again not very convenient for the guests.

Nice waterfront location, but restaurant closed and property dated. Good value.

Rooms needs to be updated... matress old and frame in the bed was old and lose...just an old hotel

There was big cockroaches with egg sacs claiming on the walls in the sleeping part there were baby german cockroaches coming out of the light fixture in bathroom. The alarm clock could not be set and room obviously wasn't cleaned there was something sticky all over the alarm clock and all over the top and front of the nightstand. Booked for 2 adults and 3 teenagers room did not have a couch was not big enough for the family we had to go but an air mattress and move everything in the room. They cut off our room keys to tell us we needed to take out the trash. The first day we gave it to the cleaning lady but they wanted us taking it to the dumpster and after they gave us new keys we went to take it out to the dumpster but had to put it on the ground because they were overflowing. Said there was food and bar on sight and open but it wasn't they said it was opening the day we were leaving and they'd why it says it's open . Beds were hard as a rock it just was not worth the money we paid

The room was clean. The shower head hung a little low, but overall a decent place to stay. The ladies up front very nice and helpful. Overall good place to stay.

Nice place to stay for a weekend. Clean and safe.

It was great stay only problem is i asked for firstfloor room due to me not ablebto climb stairs since my back surgery cant carry bags up stair an the gave me upstairs room thats the only complaint i would have
