De Vere Latimer Estate

I have stayed here numerous times over the past 2 years and cant really fault this hotel. It has great amenities including gym and swimming pool, the wifi is very quick and I never have a problem streaming. The food is always good quality at breakfast and in the restaurant/bar. Although the bar does have a very limited menu. Seems like the hotel is now focusing on weddings in the main building.

Really nice renovated property - clean, friendly and good facilities for a weekend away from the hustle of the city. Good breakfast and the gym and pool are an added benefit. The property is a 5 min taxi ride from the station, which is on a mainline from the city.

The place was amazing! Went for a nice walk in the surrounding area. The staff were great, the hotel is clean and i would go back again very soon.

Stayed here with a friend for a wedding and was really looking forward to it as the reputation preceding our stay was so good. When we checked in, we were treated with warm smiles and it went smoothly, but we weren’t told any information on breakfast or checkout times; so I had to ask. The room was bright, clean and comfortable so all in all very happy. We ordered a room service pizza, which we were told would be half an hour. Over an hour later it arrived and was burnt & cold but we were too hungry to bother complaining. The wedding reception was good & the room was perfect; however bar service was very very slow, with only 2 people serving at a very slow pace. The following morning we had an early breakfast, we were first in the restaurant. The choice was great but the plates were freezing cold making the food cold as soon as it got onto the plate. My friend doesn’t drink tea or coffee so asked for a hot chocolate (a reasonable request for a hotel); however she was told they didn’t have any! Overall a reasonable stay, but I would only go again if I was attending a function at the hotel.
