Tayih Landis Hotel,Tainan

Convenient location, great breakfast, however, there are molds in the shower.

This hotel is located in very centre of Tainan, and it’s easy to access the tourism spots. Also the shuttle bus from Tainan HSR station stops in front of here. For tourists who are familiar with Taiwan. It must be good.

Location is good, next to a high-end shopping mall with lots of restaurant options. In the 7th floor gym section, they have two billiard tables provided to staying guests for free. Staffs are really pleasant and nice at this hotel, who do go out of the way to help you. They were even willing to accommodate my sudden last minute cut in the number of nights stayed after I checked into the hotel already. Much appreciate it.

This was the last stop on a six day trip in Taiwan and we got to experience lots of different hotels along the way. We enjoyed the comfortable rooms, great breakfast buffet and the cleanliness of the facility in general. The few negative items that were more inconvenient than negative are that there was a bar on the first floor, but it did not serve anyone drinks or was manned until after 8:30 pm in lieu of something more reasonable like 5:00 pm. Another inconvenience was the wonderful rooftop hot mineral spa that showed off a beautiful night sky. This was separated for use for male and female because of all nude bathing. I am not a modest person and i did participate in the nude spa, but I would have preferred to have shared the hot mineral spring spa with my wife in a swimsuit rather than a bunch of naked males I didn't know. The one last item was the miscommunication of massage availability and reservations and only having one massage person on staff for the entire hotel. We had six people in our group that all wanted massages and there was not any available times or enough massage persons to accomplish the task when we arrived at the hotel even though we had called six hours ahead to reserve a spot and was told that there was no need for reservations.

Our favorite hotel during our two week stay in Taiwan. The location was excellent, the room spacious and luxurious, yet prices were so reasonable. Only quibble was the executive lounge which had bottled water and sodas and nothing else. The facilities were a bit dated but clean. The breakfast buffet had a ridiculous amount of selections but only the made to order items were worth eating.

I have stayed at this property almost every year for the past twelve years and have never had an issue. This is a great hotel.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Tainan. Location has good surroundings with a Mitsukoshi shopping mall right beside it, a supermarket across it and a food park as well. Rooms were huge and bed was comforatble. Breakfast also had a huge selection which was excellent.
