Hotel Don Diego

The amazing views cannot be talked about enough. The hotels friendliness and amazing English speaking staff (not expected but definitely helped us with poor Italian skills). The hotel felt authenticity Sardinian rather than commercial modern hotel. Pool amazing and spotless. My fave hotel in Sardinia now.

Location and hotel beach - priceless! The hotel needs renovations, you can notice “wear and tear” al over the place. Food - terrible. Breakfast ok but would have expect more for the price they charge + being in Italy.

VEry mixen hotel with friendly staff. Beustiful private beach with amazing water. Only would like better dining options in hotel as had to edt our every night and having a car is a must. But great experience overall

Wonderful hotel located on an incredibly beautiful beach with lots of amazing scenery. The hotel and restaurant employees are so friendly, efficient and very helpful. The sunsets and views from our room were absolutely stunning!!! We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all meals were absolutely delicious! I can’t say enough positive things about this place. Highly recommend for a nice, stress-free and relaxing break.

The hotel and staff are really fantastic. Being highly critical, the initial feeling was that some of the hotel looked a little dated. However by the end of the trip we were very reluctant to leave. The rooms are of a good size and are comfortable with a nice outdoor seating area. The facilities (including private beach, tennis court, gym, restaurant, pool and water based sport options and boat hire) are all great. If you’re planning on leaving the hotel you need a car to get around but it’s a lovely quiet location. The staff without exception are friendly, helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The beds and pillows are not up to standard... everything else is good and the staff are fantastic

Lovely hotel and grounds. Our room (no sea view) was well away from main hotel area, fair walk, no view to speak of other than a lovely bougainvillea courtyard, was pleasant and no problem, lovely and very helpful staff, good breakfasts, WIFI, nice pool and bar area, good dinner in restaurant, lovely views from hotel grounds, good swimming and snorkelling, kayaks etc. A highlight was opera arias duo after dinner in bar area :) Recommended.

Le cadre est magnifique : Plage-piscine-padel-plongée .. Le personnel adorable dans tous les services. Petit bémol , ma chambre face au parking ( avec vue jardin comme c'était marqué dans l'intitulé ). pas de fermeture de la porte a part part de gros volets en bois. pas très sympa + vitre en simple vitrage donc un bruit incessant des voitures sur le parking. Dommage.

Perfect location, stunnig views, nice beach and really good pool. Restaurant has been neglected, service is good but unfortunately the food is of relatively low quality and lack all the flavours that an ordinary Italian restaurant normally offers. A tip if you want to sleep well do not stay in the standard room as each car that drives by make the room shake. The junior rooms are on the other hand calm and has an amazing view.
