Albion Hotel

Love Glasgow West End. Always try to book Albion but often it’s so popular they are fully booked. Close to many good restaurants and bars and all attractions.

The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The location was convenient to a number of attractions and easily within walking distance of the city center.

Although the dining room is rather ‘cosy” it was lovely to have your breakfast cooked to order rather than the buffet served in larger hotels. I loved the basket of umbrellas with a sign encouraging you to borrow and return. Great service. A good value, friendly hotel and I will definitely return. The Wi-fi signal was poor but we were on holiday and this didn’t matter as we were out and about.

excellent for travel

Nice little hotel, very handily located for Glasgow's West End, university and the various museums on the campus. Easy to get to as well, pretty much opposite the Kelvinbridge underground station. Comfy single room, had everything needed, a little cramped perhaps. But wifi access is free and was very reliable during my stay. Soft drinks bar only - the website isn't completely clear on this. Good breakfast, lots of choice, place was very clean. Would stay again.
