Repubblica Bed & Breakfast

wonderful place in a perfect location. Check in was a little confusing at first, but once we figured it out it was no big deal.

The location was very convenient for exploring Florence. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was in the associated nearby hotel, was very good and had a great view from the 7th floor of Florence.

They email the location for check in about 2 blocks away from the rooms. So be ready for that. The Repubblica B&B was good. The free breakfast is two blocks away on a rooftop. Breakfast was great and beautiful view.

The room was hot. We asked for a fan, but they didn't have one. The air conditioner was not adequate to cool the entire room. The upstairs bedroom got very hot and was difficult to sleep in. lt was also confusing to get the key. I didn't know there wouldn't be anyone on site. It was not a smooth check in for that reason. The location is good. The front desk people were friendly and accommodating.

this hotel was very hard to find not too many signs around. the elevator was very old reminded me of maxwell smart.there was no one at the hotel when we arrived. 15 mins later someone arrived. the room was totally different to the one on the website. bed was hard as a rock. we ask about breakfast the guy said you have to walk about 10mins to another hotel wasn't to convenient each morning.

Breakfast was fine. There wasn’t any cups or milk in our room but there was a fridge.When booking in it would have helped if the hotel we had to go to was clearly named and directions given.

We expected street noise ( street sweeper, music ) but we awakened a few times each night from hall noise. Of course our room was directly across from entry door. Avoid this room. The other thing that was bothersome was the lights from the room thermostat and heater. We wore face masks and earplugs. Breakfast was delicious! Friendly consierge. Newly renovated room. Clean!

The hotel itself is in an ideal location. Right on Republic Square, just down the street from the Ponte Vecchio. However, the check-in is located at a different hotel on a very small side street, which we found difficult to find. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the street. It was very noisy at 1:30 and 2:00 am. The room itself had just recently been renovated, and was very comfortable. Everything is brand new. However, there was no hot water for the shower.

Highly recommend this B and B. Right in the city centre and close to all points of interest. Staff were exceptional. Friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious and a great choice too.
