Lovely clean room with all you need plus lovely breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming, good food!

Nice central location and well stocked bar. Good shower in the room and plenty plug points for all electrical essentials. Unfortunately it does badly need upgraded. Single glazing windows on a main street... and heavy condensation on the windows also. A few stains on carpets, especially on staircase and a couple of stairs that aren't complete solid. Decent enough for a short stay and easy walking distance of all the town bars and restaurants.

We’ve stayed in quite a few hotels all over and never have we decided not to stay. We went to our room and could not believe how dirty it was. There was no way we could stay in it. We found alternative accommodation and explained to the lady at reception that we would not be staying. She was perfectly understanding and we were not charged, which was appreciated.

Accommodation - Gatehouse's location and the hotel in the centre of the town makes this a great destination. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and breakfast was nice and plentiful. We visit Gatehouse every year and will choose the Bank Of Fleet again. Dining - There are fancier places to eat in the town but the menu here has plenty of choice with large helpings and friendly staff so we were happy to use it for our evening meals.

The property is well situated and local area is very attractive. However, it is, basically, a pub with rooms upstairs. On the Saturday I had to pass a Security Guard to enter and noise levels made it impossible to sleep before midnight. Broken glass was being swept up on Sunday morning. One is mopped around frequently, because of insufficient staff.

Linens and towels were clean breakfast was great in the evening hotel was like the locals pub hotel rooms very tirred

Weather event killed power the area as I arrived. Hoteliers adapted and a great night was had by many.

Hotel was clean, but drawers were in need of repair, had an old pair of pants in them. Bed was not flat, felt like I was going to roll out of it and the door to the pub banging as people come and go gets on your nerves. Very friendly service though with an early requested breakfast and evening meals were very nice and filling

Nice hotel. Very clean & everyone was incredibly friendly. Good & plentiful food. Decent nights sleep. I suppose the fixtures & fittings were a little tired, but that didn't matter to me.
