The desk clerk had a mask, but wore it over her mouth and not her nose, which should be the most coverage for protection.....she said she wasn't sure what would be available for the continental breakfast and to know little about her position. the shower leaked all over the floor as the door did not close tight and the toilet ran and ran until working withthe handle to stop the flow....some things need updating

Love this little special place. I'm not sure what the negative reviewers were expecting, but maybe they were stays "purchased" by competitors to be able to leave complaints! Yes, this is an older motel complex - but it's been remodeled. It's not high-end fancy, but it was comfortable, attractive, and delightful!! Our room was small (about 2.5 feet on one side of king bed, 3.5 feet on the other and 9-10 feet from the foot of the bed to the wall), but tastefully decorated. There was only a shower in the bathroom (no tub), but that suits me just fine. It was nice to be able to park just outside our room, and being in a building that was all one-story, there was no one stomping around above us. The wine passport was a factor in our choosing this property - but since we stayed mid-week, off-season, many of the places were not open - but - there appears to be no expiration in the booklet, so we'll use the benefits on another pass through town. Tip: Sunshine Mill Winery is open all year and SO INCREDIBLY FUNKY/COOL! The office staff were super friendly and helpful, and while the welcome glass of wine was not very high quality, it was a nice touch while sitting outside by the firepit (The white was better than the red, FYI.) We will definitely be staying here again and again as we need to pass through the area on the way to/from the coast.

The internet service was intermittent. Some times it worked but most of the time it did not.The television did not work at all. Around about 7:00 in the evening, the handle to the toilet broke. The only way to flush was open the top and find part of the broken handle. The person at the desk in the morning was apologetic but said she could not offer me a discount since I booked through someone else. She offered a bottle of wine which is of no use since I don't drink. The view of the Columbia River was good from some of the hotel.

Simple room that worked fine. There were some trashy homes on the road leading up to the hotel, which made me feel less secure parking my car at the inn. Staff was friendly. Efficient check in and out. Breakfast offerings were minimal, typical in the covid era.

Very nice and helpful reception staff. Although very few rooms were occupied our first room had non-functioning electricity so we had to move. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Great view of river and dam. Windows do open but highway and train noise make the a/c a better option. Had to ask for soap and housekeeper opened door despite do not disturb sign several hours before check out.

Clean. Quiet. Helpful Staff. Great Views.

The room was clean, bed comfortable and the motel location was great. The only negative was we found sunflower seed shells under the AC unit (and we did not bring sunflower seeds with us). I mentioned it to the front desk and she said she would tell the cleaning staff.

The lobby people are very nice, the room was quiet , the maintenance this weekend was not around.

Not a good experience. Motel needs updating. Linens are so worn out. Stuffing in comforter was clumpy. Towels were worn this and very rough. Washcloth had blood on it port laundry. Spiders and ens in corners and mildew smell at head of bed.

Room was nice, clean, good size, with a view of the river and dam. Lobby is well stocked with water bottles, yogurt, coffee, hot cocoa, etc. Staff were professional and helpful. Located above the highway so if you open the window you can definitely hear the traffic. But also located not too far from downtown and restaurants.
