AMAZING

Think the Receptionist had,had a long day! Quite a cold greeting. Then said your room is missing a coffee machine, would we like one? I said yes please, we never got it. Then, your room is missing bathrobes. Same scenario. Went to the aviary for a drink, was going to have dinner, but it was ridiculously and a strange vibe. The staff were very friendly and our server agreed about the heat. So, we ordered room service, just some croquettes with side of fries and the burger . The croquettes were supposed to be chorizo and sweetcorn but all i could taste was overcooked breadcrumbs and sweetcorn. The burger was dry. Its a shame as we have been to the aviary a couple of times and decided to stay in town for an early Christmas treat . It certainly was not a 5 star experience.

Came for my birthday, the hotel upgraded my room and allowed me and my bf and extended our check out when we asked. The room was decorated for my birthday with complimentary wine and chocolate included in the package. We literally only slept there as we went out and only stayed for the night but was enough for me to love it! Will definitely be back

This was my 3rd stay here in the past 3 months in this particular Montcalm. The service is always great, but was particularly excellent on this occasion. I had just gotten engaged and the concierge (I didn’t catch her name!) congratulated me and we had our room upgraded and decorated with some balloons. My fiancé didn’t know I had told the hotel, so it was a lovely touch! Covid measures were in place as usual and the staff are super helpful. Hotel is in a really good location (I used to live in this area when I lived in central London, so that’s another reason I choose it). Another excellent stay, will definitely be booking in again - potentially again this month for my 4th stay of the year, just depending on work. Thanks again.

The car park was advised when I telephoned the hotel as it was literally opposite- I loaded my car and need to pop to a building near by for work , I returned and my car had been broken into and all my belongings gone. The hotel it’self was nice - there was a lot of works happening during my stay. I have stayed a total of three night , spend a lot on stay and parking over £500 - but then also had all my belongs stolen - so sad trip for me.
