Paradise Flamingo Beach Hotel

The worse hotel I have ever been to. The price was too high for this run down place. There’s no elevator service, the pool was dirty, the room has no chair or table, no tissue paper. They didn’t sweep the floor or the stairs after a windy day. The only thing that was nice was the view and the food was not bad. I can say there were only maybe at most 15 people stayed in this hotel during the 2 nights we stayed there. I didn’t feel safe since the lobby was no glass doors or cover it was wide open.

Our room was in need of renovations, burnt out lamp , one hanger, no chair in room; had to ask for a patio table which was brought to us, but was filthy that we had to clean ourselves; breakfast was ok; very rich flavors cooked with lots of butter it seemed

The staff were very friendly and responsive to requests. Beautiful view, very clean rooms and comfortable beds, pillows and linens all great! They need new towels ... it was a mix of new and some that should be “retired“ for rags. Food was good, drinks were good, very quiet hotel . It is obvious work is underway to update the facilities. There are no safes in the room and the door has a single handle lock, no dead bolt and no chain. The a/c was great and there was plenty of hot water . The rooms below the dining room, which is one level down, are subject to noise from the chairs being moved as staff prepare for breakfast, which starts at 6/6:30. They did get new chairs delivered on our last day so perhaps this will not be an issue ! The pool is nice , but in need of a fresh coat of paint at the very least . The hotel is located within walking distance to several nice restaurants, though the walk home is very steep! But a great way to work off your dinner :) There is no active casino on this resort . The website is misleading.

Construction in lobby made it difficult to get taxis and rental car. Our phones weren't working well and staff most spoke Spanish. We finally got a taxi but couldnt find rental car. Get car from airport! Otherwise property beautiful with great views and beautiful beach. Kind of hidden and staff didnt tell us about beach but I discovered it. Watch out and dont walk into the many glass doors.

Recommend Paradise Hotel

The view at the hotel is breathtaking! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The beach is a long steep set of at least 77 stairs but totally worth the trip. There is no elevator and you need to walk stairs with your luggage. Staff will help if needed. Highly recommend the hotel overall. The view from the dining room and main lobby will take your breath away. Great value hotel with breakfast included!

Booked and paid 6 mos in advance. Got to property and it was under TOTAL REMODEL CONSTRUCTION. Nobody bothered to tell me of this condition, not the hotel OR Expedia. Did not stay here.

This place has a beautiful view with your practically your own private beach! Rooms are simple but clean. Can’t wait to come back!

The view is amazing, and location is great. The staff at the bar and some waiters where like "angry"- The bathroom needs remodelation, the shower is terrible and the towels are very bad quality. Breakfast is good.
