Kirkwood Resort

Very worn and gloomy. Hallways were dark. Garage was dark. Carpets stained and worn. Looks like it just got sold. Room wasn’t bad

I would not recommend at all! During a Covid pandemic you would think that cleaning would be an important part of opening your resort. They had not even vacuumed, sock in the closet from last guest along with a toothpick and other garbage. Popcorn under the bed, hand prints on the glass, dead flies on the window sills, and cigarette ashes on the balcony. I booked for 3 people and there was 2 towels, 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth!! Simply unacceptable. I did receive a full refund with expedias help, but they should not be open for business if they can't maintain it. I called the after hours number two times with no response, they finally responded to my email 2 days later about bringing more towels and possibly moving rooms. 2 days too late.

We liked the location. However, there is no A/C and the room would reach the mid 80's. They told us to use the fans, we would open the windows and try to cool it down, but only cooled 5-7 degrees. The screens on the window were bent and barely hanging on, we would have to sleep with the windows open and the cheap blinds would bang against the window the entire night keeping us awake. The mattress on the murphy bed was miserably uncomfortable. In addition, the smoke detectors began chirping at 10pm on the first night (so they aren't changing the batteries regularly) and we had to get on a stool and take both units down. To top it off, the coffee pot didn't work correctly and the coffee would flow all over the counter tops instead of in the carafe.

First of all nobody was there had to make calls to multiple people and law enforcement We want our money back!!!!! The air conditioner in the room was broken. My dad has pictures where it says it was 90 degrees in the room. Nobody for maintenance, no food, my dad could have died. I will be reporting this hotel you guys don’t deserve to be running.

The building we were in was well past its use by date. Old and musty. Terrible lobby. Room was fine, but very dated. Not worth the money at all.

First of all, the location is excellent. However, the housekeeping is poor. The coffee machine and the TV were covered with dusts. By the window, there were a few candy warps left. In the room description, it was mentioned that there is a kitchen with a stovetop and oven, but there was no such kitchen.

Right on the slopes near the ticket office and lifts.

Hard to reserve the unit we wished location wise, it would have reduced walking with skis to the lifts

I liked that the room is across from slope. Jacuzzi felt nice after skiing. Hotel manager and staff very friendly

We (a family of 4) stayed at the suite with a loft. It was very spacious, clean with a full kitchen which was very handy. We loved the hotel (great sauna and a jacuzzi), everything is made so people can really enjoy skiing/snowboarding. They have lockers downstairs for the skies, etc. When you walk outside the logde, you see 3 different lift right there; and 3 more on the other side of the lodge. Just perfect!
