Marco Polo Ortigas Manila

My Family and friends enjoyed our stay during Valentine's Day.

Very nice hotel in the Ortigas business district...Will definitely come back here if I stay in this area of Metro Manila..Very modern,upscale decor throughout the hotel...

the hotel is on a great location. complementary transfer to the 2nd biggest mall in Manila.

Luxurious hotel. Friendly staff. Spacious room. Excellent valet and security.

Overall, I give a rating of 10 out of 10. Superb staff performance in customer service. Very cordial and a pleasant personalities of the staff in every ways, from the guard at entrance to the 45th floor.

Confirmation order from hotel.com came late to the hotel. Checked in around 3pm and front desk cant find my name. They still checked me in but placed a credit hold on my card pending arrival of the notice from hotels.com. Until I checked out the next day, no one informed me that the notice order finally arrived an hour after I checked in and that my card was not charged of the credit hold.

Quick check in and check out. I was surprised about the P5k deposit as it was not mentioned in Hotel.com when I made the booking. Room very clean and comfortable. Only complain I have is there's no shower cap. The staff very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast really good. I only stayed for 2 nights and out most of the day so did not really experienced the comfort the room offers. Maybe, I will stay longer next time.

My stay was

Booked a club room but we checked in shortly after cocktail hours, so we missed out on it; would have liked a welcome drink but staff was very professional and quickly checked us in. Room was spacious and clean. We were on a quiet floor and appreciated it. Food and service was excellent. Although, for our first night dinner at the Chinese restaurant we waited around 40 minutes before receiving our meal. Indoor pool was a bit crowded on the weekend, much better on Monday morning though, very nice if you're going as a family (4 feet depth throughout). Overall a good experience. Expected a bit more perks from the continental club (spa and restaurants discounts would have been a plus considering the steep price). Loved the atmosphere and service, would consider staying again in the future.

i booked a room on line and requested a room face the marikina valley, got a reply that they will try. when i check in the reception area i was told that the room rate i got was really located facing the buildings at the back of the hotel. the reason i choose the hotel was for the view in time for the new years celebration. they should have told me that the room rate i got will not give me the view i wanted. i tried the reception desk if i can change room and willing to pay more but i was told fully booked already. not sure if it was and issue of the online agency or marco polo.
