Golden Cyclo Hotel

Amazing experience with exceptional service. Jerry goes above and beyond to ensure that all needs are met and is extremely attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back if staying in Hanoi again. Jerry has outstanding local knowledge and speaks excellent English. Always greeted with a smile and enthusiasm. There is nothing that is too much trouble for Jerry. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The hotel was centrally located in the old quarter. The room was clean and the bed in my room was a little firm but that is just personal preference. The freshly made omelettes at breakfast were tasty. The staff were attentive at all times, Jeremy in particular was exceptional with his customer service. The staff were the difference between a good and excellent experience. Overall I would stay here again.

Good location and room was nice size. Breakfast was very good. The only complaint was that the coffee was cold and not very nice. Value for money.

The pictures are way nicer than the reality. Perhaps because I went for a standard room. It always felt a little dirty and had a weird smell. There were constantly loud noises in the hotel; be it the cleaners or people in the halls. The walls were very thin. I actually complained once because for an hour it sounded like chairs were being dragged across the floor above my room. I was told it was cleaners and would stop soon. The breakfast was the worst I had on my trip with a really strange selection. Was happy they at least had eggs. There was always a cleaner washing the floors during breakfast which was really off putting as there was a strong clinical smell while eating. My room itself didn’t have a window, so felt a little claustrophobic, and the air con didn’t work. I tried to order room service once (in the afternoon when I first arrived) and was told it was unavailable even though the manual said it was 24hour. The location was on the outskirts of the Old Quarter so it was 10-20 minutes walk from most areas you’d want to visit in the city. The staff were friendly.

Jerry and the staff are absolutely amazing!! They always welcome me with very warm greetings. They are always readily available to address any concerns or questions I may have... I love this place!!! Thanks again and see you very soon!!!

I'm not a demanding traveler, the only requirement I have is that the hotel fulfills my three C's. Clean, Comfortable and Convenient. The Golden Cyclo Hotel provides this in addition to a 4th, Customer service. Their hotel staff are friendly and always wiling to provide assistance. The only issue I had was with the shower in our room, which took about 5 or so minutes for the hot water to kick in.

Accessible location, with a minimart nearby and walkable distance to nearby attractions. Good cleanliness and very polite front office. Special shoutout to Jerry for preparing a birthday surprise for us, a cake and fresh roses. Truly memorable.
