Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles

My room was huge and super clean and comfortable. The design was minimalist and modern. The deep soaking tub was perfect and the windows that wrapped around the entire loft made the room full of light with interesting downtown views. Because of Covid the surrounding area was kind of a ghost town, but it made for a unique experience of LA. I highly recommend staying at Ace Hotel DTLA.

Girlfriend and I's first time staying in Downtown LA and our time here was amazing. Staff was incredibly nice & helpful. Room was clean, cozy, & honestly felt like our own little studio rather than a typical hotel setup. Location was just perfect. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had such an amazing stay here at the ace hotel! Was super chic and modern the restaurant at the hotel was amazing food and service on point. We'll definitely be back for another stay soon!

Just okay-was there for a quick business trip. Not sure if this normal in non Covid times but Downtown LA shuts down as soon as the sun goes down and there is nothing open after 7 it seems. Easily walkable during the day and near some good coffee shops and restaurants. Didn’t find the room comfortable to stay in. One window in the room that overlooked nothing. Hotel staff was great and helpful.

Room was very nice but missing a lot of things I was excited about. I was hoping I’d get a bathrobe as mentioned online and also an in room guitar but mine had neither. The record player and speaker would not work which I was very bummed about. I chose this hotel for the room service but they did not tell me till I arrived that no room service was available. Everything was very dusty as well.

The photos must be from years ago. The hotel looks NOTHING like the photos. The room looked like a closet. There were electrical wires comin out of the wall by the bed where a light fixture should be. Pretty terrible overall.

I booked this hotel, thinking the pool and rooftop were open. I understand during the Pandemic that that is not a given, but it should have been advertised as such on the website and hotels.com before I booked my stay. I was only told upon check in and by then it was too late to book a hotel with a pool. Very disappointed with the lack of communication.

Chose the Ace Hotel because I really liked the one in New Orleans but was very disappointed with the one in Los Angeles Downtown. The hotel overall looks old and the room felt like I was staying at a hostel. I don’t believe it was at full capacity so I’m sure the front desk could’ve given us a room that have a better view at least. Mine was looking down another building roof. And for my luck, the rooftop was closed for deep cleaning. I also didn’t like that we had to park away from the hotel in a self parking location. The front desk attendant did not even budge to helps us with a bell cart to unload our suitcases, he seemed busier talking to his colleagues. Will never stay here again.. too pricey for what it was. Would like a refund!

The Ace is always great. It’s our go-to place downtown. Service is excellent. Rooms are comfy. Staff is friendly and cool and helpful. It’s all good.
