Motel 6 San Diego, CA - Downtown

Service was great, the room was decent. My heat was not working properly and I’m sure if I had said something the staff would have been more than happy to help. I would stay again.

The room was very small but smelled of smoke despite being non-smoking. It was very cold even due to the minimal bedding. There were no shower towels so I dried off with a hand towel after a shower. There were soiled napkins in a puddle of urine in the elevator which wreaked.

Just needed a place for the night, it was noisy and not a very good part of town. It was cold and the heating didn’t work, water was leaking from under the sink so I had to put the trash can there. Overall I believe it’s over priced, for the price I paid for this room I would except something bigger or with more amminatys

I didn’t feel safe in that place. There are some people in the entrance that are not staying in the hotel.

I would avoid this motel if you can, I think this is one of the motels that are giving rooms to the homeless so its a bit sketch. We got catcalled right in front of the motel by some men smoking in front who were also guests. The room was old, but decent I guess, no shampoo and conditioner though. I didn’t feel safe at all. Service was nice, she gave me a room on one of the upper floors because the location wasn’t that good.

As soon as I rang the door bell the front desk Daphnie (tall long, skinny, black hair) Daphnie was waving her hand at me with an attitude to open the door when she buzzed it. When I walked up she didn’t greet me ask nothing, she just stayed staring at me with an ugly face, mind you I had done nothing to her and had drove a 24 hour straight drive (pregnant) but I don’t take it out on anyone, Daphnie did I told her I was checking in the room I had booked gave her my name she swiped my card gave me my key (which she just threw on the counter) I was so angry she ruined my trip to San Diego and that was my very first time going. When she threw the card on the counter she didn’t say have a great night she simply got back on her cell phone. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER DAPHNIE (I run a business, this would never be tolerated at my place of work)

It's a nice building with a parking lot. What's not right is that the floors were dirty.

Picture didn't match room. Bed was collapsed, room didn't match photo, my view was of another building, shower head trickled water, neighborhood was overran with homeless, very limited parking, etc. I only stayed 1night.

The location was the best thing about this Motel 6. The building itself left a little to be desired, it just felt dirty overall. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke and perfume, there were some questionable stains on the pillows, and hair that definitely didn't belong to us.

Front desk was rude when I was asking questions about the room. I was already tired and I just left it alone because I want to shower and get some rest. When I got to the room, it was stink and had a bad odor. There were no towels (my boyfriend had to go downstairs and get some), the floor mat in the bathroom was really damp and there was a wet hand towel and pubic hair in the bathtub. It was really disgusting I had to let the hot water running to clean the bathtub. Never again come to this Motel 6.
