Arakur Ushuaia Resort & Spa

Exceptional hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful property.

We split our stay in Ushuaia between here and staying in town, and Arakur was far better. The views are amazing, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the food in the restaurant really good. We also appreciated being able to have an early breakfast as we had an early-morning excursion. The trails through the forest were also lovely and easy to follow. Would love to stay here again!

It’s a beautiful property. Very modern and luxurious. The rooms are fantastic. The views from the property are amazing. The pools are wonderful, with impressive views of town and the Beagle channel below. The food at the restaurant is very good .

Great building, terrible service. Very high usage rate when the cruise ships are about to leave or have just come back. Checked in after a cruise at 10.15am, was told one of our two rooms would be ready in an hour, finally got into rooms at 4.45pm! Took half an hour to get a coffee at 11am, ordered three lunches but only two turned up. The Fawlty Towers of Tierra del Fuego!

It was a delight to be looked after the serving staff at b'fast. They were keen to look after you and always with a smile. Unfortunately the Catering Manager and General Manager were most unhelpful by not providing ANY vegetarian option in the hot buffet as part of the inclusive rate. This is the FIRST hotel we have visited where not one of the following was provided: baked beans, hash browns, spinach or stir-fried vegetables. They have fallen well short of the values expected from management of a member of "The Leading Hotels of the World". Shame

This hotel has great views, but that’s about it. The walls were thin and we could hear everyone’s conversations, when they flushed, and when they came and went. They were by all means not even loud. The thin walls really made it seem like were were in communal living rather than an upscale hotel. The breakfast foods were tired and not fresh. It came free with out stay and I wouldn’t recommend paying for it. Front staff was unfriendly and at best, indifferent. We didn’t have a good experience and wouldn’t recommend it.

High end boutique feel. Pool and spa was very nice. Room decor modern and contemporary. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Excellent property and staff. High quality upscaled hotel. Magnificent view. Cons: Relatively far from the center. Would benefit from more frequent shuttle service. Was too crowded (spa, swimming pool, breakfast area) - apparently some company brought its workers for a recreational activity. Nor sure if it is a regular practice at this hotel.

Pool was amazing and friendliness of employees made entire visit very relaxing and peaceful

Amazing hotel! Chic and extremely clean plus the food was fantastic as well as having a great wine selection. The bath products were a nice treat. A little far from the airport but the hotel provides transportation into the town and back on a shuttle.
