Wink Capsule Hostel

The capsule was nice, spacious and clean. But the room they were in was small and cramped. And the common areas were also tiny with limited seating and sparse, uncomfortable furniture. Breakfast was of low quality. Washing and dryer cost 8 Singapore dollars, a bit high I think. And the customer service was perfunctory at best. Nice location though! And it served its purpose. I would stay there again, but would also look for something with a more comfortable welcoming staff and common spaces.

Likes: - property within minutes walking distance of a MRT station - staff are very helpful, pleasant and courteous - free breakfast - ear plugs are available upon request (if your room is of the dorm setting and there is a snorer in the room) - great for solo travelers Minor things that can be better: - Communal women's washroom: There seems to always be puddles of water under the sinks, causing me to either stand in those puddles, or stand in an awkward position to avoid them; If I stand in the puddles, the water seep through my disposable slippers

This is good and convenient location, near subway and there are a lot of restaurants nearby

Good accommodation, close to Chinatown mrt. Lots of restaurants close by, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit awkward with people trying to be at the same place at once

I liked the dormitory bed, it was clean and comfortable.

Chose this hostel for the reviews and the price - as a family of 5 staying in Singapore is very expensive. Our room was private simple but very clean, the kids enjoyed staying in capsules. The bathroom facilities were new and very clean which was great. Check in was easy and host friendly and accommodating. Public areas are too small though and the seating area could really only just accommodate us. Room was also ridiculously noisy from outside overnight which wasn't fun when the rubbish was emptied very early in the morning. Only suggestion for the private rooms would be an area to sit that's not your bed - there was the space. The area and hostel felt very safe and the location was very close to the metro and chinatown markets so a big bonus

I have booked this as i want to experience staying at a capsule hotel. It was not what i expected and was disappointed with the place and that it was not informed that its under renovation so its much more not comfortable. The staff are friendly thoughand prompt in doing the checkin.

Convenient and easily located just about 3 - 5 mins walk from Chinatown MRT station. Easy check-in and check-out procedure. Helpful staff. Facilities may not be fancy, but are fairly in good condition. For a short one night stay, I had a comfortable stay.

Convenient location and access to the city and sites. Room is well sized for cost and our large group, good storage space and capsule size for sleeping. Bathroom facilities were below average standard and not very clean for our 3 day stay. Breakfast facilities were basic but adequate for travellers.
