Cairndow Stagecoach Inn

We stayed at Cairndow Stagecoach Inn for 5 days and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in the luxury rooms with balcony, and the view is outstanding. The rooms are a bit tired and the bathroom could do with a refit but we weren’t in the room long. The hotels breakfasts were good and the menu through the day was good and your usual typical bar meals. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Ian kept us topped up with teas and coffee for our room and worked hard during our stay. They are very conscientious about hygiene and keeping the distance rule in place.The rooms aren’t cleaned while your there but it is obviously due to Covid. It’s a good all rounder and the area is beautiful.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a very nice meal in the hotel and the breakfast was also very nice. Some areas of the hotel were a little dated and the bathroom had no storage surface area for toiletries, but no major complaints. We had the Loch Fyne view and a room with balcony, which was lovely despite the weather. Very close to Inveraray and Loch Lomond, so great for travel beauty spots.

We were made most welcolme at Cairndow, Spacious room and comfortable bed. Good breakfast and evening meals were fine with a wide choice of dishes. Good cycling and walking close to the hotel.

This is a reasonable hotel. Service was very warm and friendly. The hotel itself was comfortable and the family room pretty spacious. Dinner was average and given they are not part of the current government subsidy it was expensive. Breakfast was good. Overall reasonable not quite as stunning as the pics!

Staff very friendly food great, good experience

Nice family run hotel by the lochside. We stayed in the main house which was fine. Would have preferred the Annex which has a terrace looking out to the Loch. Was not clear how you book these. Classed as a 3 star which is reasonable, but price is steep. Overall nice place for a short stay.

The hotel room we were allocated was very dated and in need of some tlc. It is unfortunate as I believe other rooms are meant to be lovely, but the time and effort hasn’t stretched to the family room for 5 people. The staff were polite and really nice. Parking is easy and views lovely. The tv in our room wasn’t working as I couldn’t tune but thankfully the internet was good do I managed to use my fire stick. For the money I paid I feel that it wasn’t good value.

Wonderful warm welcome

Beautiful location with the friendliest people working there. Always a smile and nothing was an effort. Brilliant entertainment on the Saturday night and cosy well maintained and comfortable rooms
