Nice scenery along a lake - good seating outside..

When I arrived they did not have my reservation nor did they have an appropriate room. Also I had fully paid for the room for 2 days which they were not aware of . I have emailed you twice since Friday night and no reply until this. Still trying to get my money back. Will annonce my horrible experience to the Montreal Gazette and the Journal de Montreal . Please return my money .

It’s affordable and a nice location. But the rooms are not air conditioned so summers can be brutal

It’s been a while since I’ve been so disappointed in a hotel. And so disappointed in myself for trusting the pictures on the site without checking the reviews a bit more... The pictures are very misleading! They show a lot of the outside area which is indeed very nice and relaxing and does look exactly like that. The inside on the other hand...I don’t know if we were just incredibly unlucky or something, but the room we got had nothing to do with the pictures presented here. It was the tiniest room I’ve ever seen, not more than 3 square m (and I’m not even completely sure there were that many!). It smelled strange and there was an awful fan just above the bed which made a super annoying noise, even after we stopped it! The room walls were super thin and we could hear everything anyone was saying on the hallways or in other rooms. It felt like an old dated dorm room, which might be fine for students, but not for someone driving all day from Boston, who only wanted to rest. And maybe we could have looked past all that, if it wasn’t for the price! Which was not cheap at all! Honestly, we couldn’t be happier to leave that place and I am very sorry to say this for the personnel there, as they were nice and kind.

We enjoyed our stay at the Manoir; the grounds are beautiful, the on-site restaurant was delicious and had great service, and the interior was clean and well kept. I was hesitant about the shared bathroom, but it was very clean and our floor was quiet. The breakfast buffet is also excellent. The one drawback to our stay was the receptionist at check-in. Somehow a mistake was made with my reservation, but the receptionist was adamant that it was my fault and I had to pay for it. She refused to listen, interrupted me, was condescending and beyond rude, raised her voice to say "Oh, come on!" when I told her that I didn't know how the mistake was made, and even went so far as to suggest that "maybe my husband or children who don't know what they're doing" made the mistake "and I didn't notice." I was appalled at the way she spoke to me and have never experienced that kind of treatment or level of rudeness from a customer service person. Luckily they were able to fix the error and the rest of our stay was pleasant, and every other staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful, but the confrontational nature of the woman at check-in really took away from the experience.

Most of the visit was quiet and peaceful. Only sad thing I’ve got to say, is when checking out, the desk clerk wasn’t very pleasant. No thank you or acknowledgement but it could be because of the large group of women’s hockey team getting ready to leave. Got to say, the girls were quiet! That was great

Receptionist keep me waiting for my key for 20 minutes. Any other time it would have been unacceptable, but even more so at 9:30 on a Friday evening.

It was a totally different experience. Bring a good book and relax. Let the freindly staff take care of you. Allow the genetal ambiance sink ln. I would definately go back!

Unique character of the location. Historical place that remind my years in private high school.

the place is very quiet and comfortable, i enjoyed my stay and i look forward to staying here again.
