Rusticae Es Petit Hotel de Valldemossa

The hotel was a real find . Relaxing and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners to do for us including lending maps ! Terrace area and gardens available to relax in at all times .

We loved staying at this very beautiful hotel. We were made so very welcome & the views from our balcony were breathtaking. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, cheeses, etc - and to sit on the terrace whilst having breakfast was a delight. We will definitely return.

Location is sensational looking down the valley to the sea Very close to the centre of town with excellent restaurants within five minute walk

This is a really lovely small hotel, beautiful setting, the staff were all delightful and helpful, breakfast will be remembered for years to come - lots of different choices and a sublime view while you eat and drink your fresh coffee. There is a mini bar provided for drinks etc and AC in the rooms. Excellent historical town to spend a few days in with a great choice of restaurants and places to visit, the museum has some Miro's and the Chopin museum quite touching. All in all a lovely stay.

Because it is located in the old part of town, parking (included in the hotel's cost) is about 5 minutes away.

My husband and I only stayed here one night during our tour around Mallorca. We were met by our host who advised us about car parking (you can't park at the hotel as it is in the old town, but parking is available nearby and us free to guests). Host was very friendly and helpful and showed us to our room, which was upgraded. Room was large with small balcony, bed comfortable, good bathroom with complimentary toiletries, wi-fi. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice and could be eaten either in the breakfast area or on the balcony, with lovely views. Valldemossa itself is a lovely little town with some nice shops and restaurants and also a monastery. Would thoroughly recommend and would stay again. Thank you.

The Village is so cute and the place is equally nice. Gonzalo the owner, did everything in his power to make us feel comfortable, he even lit an open fire for us one night when it was a bit fresh. Loved our stay here!

I visited this hotel out of season so for one day, at least, I was the only traveller there. Valldemossa is very quiet in January with most of the restaurants closed for the winter (they seem to open in February). The hotel is on a quiet lane leading out from the centre of the village, it isn't really outside the village but on the borders looking out over the valley. It's a very charming spot. The room I was given was large and well equipped and had a great views from the balcony. The host is friendly, attentive and flexible and gave me some good tips about things to do. He was happy to speak in Spanish or English, whichever I preferred. The breakfast was very good and there are (even in January) lots of other places to eat and drink around the hotel. Communal areas downstairs are comfortable and relaxing. Valldemossa itself is a well placed village for walking and exploring the surrounding villages of this part of Majorca. It is an hour's walk down to the port de Valldemossa, a nice leg stretcher down the windy road to the small harbour. There's a restaurant open in the summer but closed when I visited. Otherwise you can hip up onto the hills where there are very well established and dramatic walking routes. I was travelling by bus which was super-easy and a good decision. It takes less than 30 minutes from the central bus station in Palma to get a bus to Valldemossa and cost under 2 euros. Why drive?
