Americas Best Value Inn Rockdale

We've stayed at this hotel at least 8 times. The accommodations are consistent with the price. The staff is great and always helpful. We've never had issues with bugs or come down with some devastating plague as some reviews would have one believe. We will stay there again.

Disappointing “continental breakfast “. Not even real orange juice. Orange drink. No eggs or meat. Only bread regular white. No ESPN either. Room was clean and a/c worked. Comfortable bed.

The hotel accommodations were disgusting. I had a non smoking Room with cigarette Burns all over the comforter the AC controls were disgusting and had some kind of nastiness all over them and I would not change them without a glove on. The bed was broken and very uncomfortable to sleep on. And I was almost scared to take a shower in this roach motel.

Hotel was easily accessible from down town. The amenities were decent and the continental breakfast was average. Rooms were clean but, the toilet handle was broke and required the lifting of the tank cover to flush, bug were found in the room and in the bed. Entry door latch was worn and worn door seal contributes to the bug problem.

Absolutely horrible service, dirty hotel and surroundings, noisy, filthy room, uncomfortable bed. Everything else was booked due to an event we were in town for, so we couldn't change. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

Hotel is on the outskirts of town, but is just a short drive to downtown. The facility is not as new as many in the area, but it is comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was minimal but filling. Coffee was always available and nice and hot. I was very pleased with the room. It was much cleaner than some of the reviews would indicate. There were some stains on the carpet and the chair arms, but that is to be expected in an older facility. This room was much nicer than many of the rooms I've stayed in at Tom B's place. Overall, an excellent value for my money.

typical small town hotel, small but good breakfast, decent/clean room, but nothing fancy

Our key card did not work. The manager came 3 times to change the card. The lock was broken and would only respond to the master card. We felt trapped in our room. If we left we had to have the manager come back and open the door. The stairs and walkway concrete was chipped up pretty bad and we did not feel safe going up and down the stairs. The room itself was clean and neat but obviously worn and older. The carpet had some bare spots. It would not be my first choice for that price.

Half mile from Rockdale. Easy access in and out. Was really impressed with the hotel, I was expecting anything but.
