Close to Paddington train station. Pub downstairs is convenient for a quick bite or drink. No common area upstairs. Dorm rooms are very snug and bathroom facilities could be cleaner. As a heads up, check in is at the bar counter.

great clean hostel near tube station.stayed in a 9 bed room with clean beds.only stayed one night but would stay again

Not quite what we expected / we thought we’d have more of the room to ourselves - but having said that it was super CLEAN!!! Quiet , hassle free, dead convenient. Staff were nice and thoughtful. The pub was open 24 hours - the food was nice - ability to bring in a takeaway - perfect - they even gave us plates ! I’ve been recommending it - it just ticked every box —— once we realized we’d be sharing the room with a few more people than we thought !

This property is not up to the same standard as Hosteling International. Avoid

Stayed once before and would stay again as affordable and good location for me. Small fan and no AC in the dorm. Got to my bunk late, and it was occupied, even though I had left some clothing and the bed spread previously in the day.

like a prison staff are very rude when i asked them there is no cold water on my floor and temperature outside was 35, he replied i don’t care !!!! windows of the room can’t open fully, so it was hard to breath

The hostel is just a few steps from the station. There is staff on site 24/7 so you won't have to worry about being locked out, and they are efficient and helpful. The food is good and there is a large variety of beer, warm and cold. It has plenty of outlets and free WI-fi and plenty of tables and chairs. The hostel is located in a cheap part of town. Police cars with sirens would always race by day and night but nothing dangerous happened around the hostel. Edgeware Road is a pretty gritty area and there are a lot of cheap-eats open late at night. Now for the bad . You have to climb either one or two flights of stairs to get to your room. The halls are not well illuminated so depending what room you're assigned, it's hard to find the right numbers and letters on the keypad to let yourself in. The rooms are cramped with too many beds which are three-tiered. So if you get the bottom be you might feel a bit claustrophobic. The showers are on the same level as your room, but if you want to go to the bathroom you have to go downstairs. The last two days I was there something went wrong with the showers. They all had to be closed down. Water was coming thru the cieling and in to the foyer in the dining area.

Was given the lower bed which just 3 inches from the floor. The clearance is only about 24 inches which not possible to sit on the bed. The only bed thst can sit nicely will be only the top bunk but not the middle bunk bed or the lower bottom bed. I check in at 3pm which means there still many other beds available but given the worst bottom bed just next to other guests shoes and boots. During the night. Can still see many top beds available and that should be ask during check in before allocate the bed. Staff check me in iis not friendly. I was ask to stand aside when trying show my booking details. I am a frequent traveller which staying at hotels 5 days a week. This is really not the way as I am trying to show booking details from my mobile. Used to stay in Greenman pub long ago but now no longer provide free breakfast as before.
