Week-long business stay

The apartment is in a little building of 3 or 4 apartments, all run by the same company. You check in and get the keys at the company office, about a 10-15 minute walk away. The stairs are very steep, as is common in Amsterdam. The apartment is well-equipped with cooking and eating utensils, glasses and plates, etc. It was a dishwasher and a washing machine, which is nice for a longer stay. There is a balcony and the windows open for some nice fresh air. It was very clean, but some of the curtains and walls could use a wash. The bedroom is spacious and so is the living area, with a nice big dining table. The area is a real highlight. Within walking distance of all the major Amerstdam things to see and do, but in a quiet side street. Overall, very comfortable, functional and convenient.

Beautiful location, central to everything. Just hop on to tram 13 or 17 around the corner and you got to central station. Lots of cute little shops and grocery store within easy walking distance. We even had a friend cat visut our 4th floor rooftop windows. The check in lady was helpful and we loved that the office was right in the airport. Would use them again when we come for another visit.

Off the main streets, close enough to walk anywhere. Lots of great shops and restaurants. Very quiet, apartment had all the basics we needed.

Beautiful Amsterdam Apartment

Beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood. Service was offered once (trash removed, towels / linens replenished, etc.). Checkin was also super easy at AMS airport counter. Would definitely stay again.

Cute apartment in nice area

We enjoyed our ten day stay. We checked in at the airport, which was a pleasaant experience. The bus dropped us only a few blocks away, but we would have benefited from being given a specific address on a single sheet of paper. We were given papers with various numbers, which made it unclear which was the street number versus the apartment number, so it took us some time to find it. The neighborhood is charming and within walking distance to many things, and just a few blocks from Anne Frank’s house. The apartment was comfortable and stocked with dishes. We were only given one towel each though and never figured out how to properly use the combined washer/dryer. Housekeeping came after a few days and tidied up. The room was on the fourth floor without an elevator, and the stairs were a very tight spiral. Not recommended for elderly or small children, since the stairs go directly into kitchen. Bring an HDMI cable and computer if you want to watch TV. It had a tub, but the plug doesn’t fit the drain, so it’s really not too useful. We stuck with the shower, which has great hot water with the instant hot water heater. The apartment was clean and quiet, though throughout Amsterdam you can hear the clock tower every half hour and airplanes overhead, which we didn’t mind. (I think it would be true anywhere, at least in the Jordaan neighborhood.) Overall, it was pleasant, affordable, had what we needed, and suitable for two people. We enjoyed our stay.

Awesome apatrment

The space was the best. We arrived early and since their was no one in the space they let us check in early with no extra charge. Top floor with awesome views and a great part of Amsterdam. Be prepared for.lots of staurs in this traditional Amsterdam house

We loved having more space than a hotel room, and a seating area separate from the bedroom, plus a small (but well equipped) kitchen. Our apartment was on the top floor and had windows on all 4 sides. The trade-off was 4 flights of steep winding stairs. People who find such a climb difficult, or who travel with large suitcases, should ask for the ground floor.

Beautiful property and ideal location. A lot of stairs.

This well appointed and beautiful property is ideally located in the desirable Jordaan section of Amsterdam with numerous shops, restaurants and sights within walking distance. However, nowhere in the description is it revealed that this property is located on the 4th floor (considered the 5th floor in the USA). Additionally, this is a typical Dutch staircase which is steep, winding with small steps. We are in our 60's and still fit enough to handle the steps but with suitcases, it was a challenge. I can imagine that this would be impossible for some people. The description also shows photos of all their properties in this building so you don't know which apartment is yours until arrival. I believe the descriptions need to be more specific and accurate so there are no unpleasant surprises for guests upon arrival.
