Aparta-Hotel Villa Baya

The address you have is wrong. I only found it by looking at the map, ignoring the written address. It is in Bayahibe, not in San Rafael del Yuma. Three minutes walk to the harbor / beach. Lots of restaurants. Italians dominate among foreign tourists. Good place for relaxing, or as a base for going diving. Very nice apartments, better environment than most places there. A/C in bedroom only but 2nd and 3rd floors have an ocean breeze.

Very cozy, walking environment, secure and safe, restaurants nearby, good place for a romantic stay.

Hotel is very clean and has area for kids to safely play.

Room was clean, but we were not provided shampoo or conditioner. No blow-dryer was in the room either

Lovely place with great location as everything is in walking distance. Staff is very sweet and assist with everything. Looking forward to our next visit

Very good costumer service

The hotel apartment is a short walk from the beach front and restaurant row - an easy stroll. The staff was very friendly, the AC worked well and the kitchen was nice. The only comment we would note is that the taxi driver they chose to call for us (its a very small town, apparently without Uber) was a crook who tried to charge us US$15 for a 2km ride -- we finally settled for $5, but still a very unpleasant encounter. This wasn't specifically the hotel's fault, but beware if you ask their assistance in getting a taxi.

The hotel area and room were very clean for Dominican standards. The breakfast was a little bit too small but still very tasty. The receptionist was very nice but unfortunately, not able to speak a single word in English, which is very common in Dominican Republic but still made communication very hard.

Ótimo hotel, funcionário simpático, o dono do hotel também muito solícito, nos deram dicas de passeios e restaurantes. Voltaria com certeza!!!
