I wish there was more frequent shuttle services and also later than 1630 being the last Other places we stayed in Thailand had last shuttle till 920 pm. Especially considering the distance from the beach The soap dispensers in room 406 were rusted and being attached to the wall is not the most convenient. Otherwise the general service was good, pool was clean
I booked this hotel because of the high reviews rating, which to my disappointment didn't match the value I was looking for when I reached.. I was confused why it had such high ratings. Then when I wanted to ask for a late checkout, they said they'd only give it to me if I go to the reception and give a 5-star review in front of them, which explained why they have such a false high rating. The staff isn't friendly, the breakfast lacks options for vegetarians and vegans, there's not even water in the lobby, and they would charge you an extra money if you need an ice bucket, which is usually free in other hotels. Also they "forgot" to give me back my deposit when I checked out, then I remembered to remind them last minute, they said if I don't ask for it they don't give it back!! They mention they have a beach shuttle but the timings are bad, only every 2 hours, I ended up taking taxis instead of waiting 2 hours for their shuttle service. The location is inconvenient, it's a dead area, nothing around. I was disappointed and highly don't recommend.
There were hairs in the bathroom from I guess the previous people. Long and dark and those couldn’t have been from myself. There was a very long power outage during our stay and I asked for some type of credit, even a food voucher but they didn’t say this was an option.
The location of the hotel was off the beaten path in Kata first of all and right outside our window was a trash heap that we looked at every morning. It’s impossible to walk from the hotel to anywhere unless you want to get ran over. I definitely will not be staying here ever again. Then we were told by management when we checked in that there was no thermostat and that the temperature for our room was preset, not sure if this is standard for Phuket but this also was an inconvenience.
The hotel, not resort as listed on Expedia left a lot to be desired. For one, they trade 5 star reviews for free shuttle rides. In the business world, this is called a scam so I would not know why Expedia would continue to subject their users to this type of place considering there are dozens of reviewers in the past making the same statement. It would also be nice if the hotel updated its photos as this place now looks nothing like it used to. I do not recommend this place for anyone as it is very remote and extremely hard to get to the beach from here. It is on the opposite side of the busiest road in the town and the vehicles never stop to let people go by. On top of that, the 2km walk which would normally not be a problem, is not for the out of shape. We are both in shape and we struggled on the way back. The staff is rude. I made my comments on the check in and was subsequently harassed by the owner or manager who kept calling my room and then knocking on our door. I suffered food poisoning in the city and told him to leave me alone but they bothered us for 2 days straight. Very unprofessional. I’ll be contacting Expedia next. Avoid like the plague!
The open food court/breakfast buffet to outside/pool was very nice and peaceful. Clean courtyard.
This property situated far away from the Kata beach on a mountain. Nothing good to say other than the cleanliness which was great. Breakfast buffet was below average. Shuttle service to the beach was on a back of a Ute through the highway without seat belts which was a scary ride.
I won a Vip pass to Phi Phi island. When i went to try to use it at from the desk everything was booked for a month. I went anyway but the feeling of winning a free trip to then find out it was useless was terrible
horrible. staff not cooperative at all if someone wants to spoil thier holiday its the perfect spot.
Overall very disappointing for a 4 stars hotel, feels more like a 3 stars honestly. Hotel facilities have not much charm like you expect from a Thai hotel. The biggest turn off was that the cleaners don’t do their job properly (don’t refill the body soap and the shampoo unless we run out and have to ask réception, don’t clean the shower or bath...). The sheets were clean but the pillows had a dusty smell which made me sick at night being allergic to dust. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with food variety and freshness of veggies/fruits. Food at the restaurant is clearly overpriced compare to town prices so better skip it. The staff was rather nice even though English was not very good for the majority of them. The gym is pretty small and is missing more equipment in order to do proper full body training. Again the floor mattress were super dusty and should clearly be changed for guests comfort. The shuttle for the beach was convenient even though the service stops at 4 Pm so if you want to go to beach or dinner after 4 PM your only option is to take a taxi to town which will be rather expensive for a 5minutes ride. Me and my wife since we love walking tried the way back to hotel by foot but the road is very busy road and not safe at all with cars running full speed and no path for pedestrian; highly don’t recommend to do that, it was a stressing experience. I have stayed at 3 hotels in Phuket so far and this was clearly the worst in our experience so far.
