Discovery Parks – Adelaide Beachfront

Clean, neat and tidy. Spacious cabin. Liked the deck and table and chairs to sit outside.

Was really nice cabin but would’ve loved a heater that worked better.

I arrived at the site around 4pm as instructed. I approached the "Reception" area which was locked. I approached the little kiosk area which was empty. I started looking through windows and saw someone moving...I knocked on the window which seemed to be somewhat of an inconvenience to the young lady who opened the window and just half glared at me and did not say a word. I told her I was there to book in to which she said "You would have got a text message about booking in". I was able to show her I did not. She quickly wrote down on a sticky note the access code for a key safe telling me "It's all in there". The cabin I booked was quite adequate but the heating was not on what we were told on the News Adelaide's coldest nights in 30 years...no matter how long it was on it barely increased the temperature of what is quite a small area all told. As I'm in the area for a few weeks I was intending to just try the place out for a couple of nights then if was all good book in for a number of weeks....after my experience, and then hearing on the radio it has been a COVID quarantine area (NOT MENTIONED AT ALL FROM ANYONE OR ANYTHING) I won't be going back. Hardly the most welcoming of places.

Such a great location, very relaxing, spacious cabin fully equipped and couldn’t ask for more, so close to beach.

We stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom cabin, it was clean, comfy and enough room for 2 adults, 6 year old and baby.

Easy to find, great location. Cabins were clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. Only downfull was the office hours..... office closed at 2!! So kids couldn't hire or go to games room
