Central Perk Lodge

Room and toilets needed cleaning on arrival. The whole place needed painting. Unpleasant food smells throughout the building. The shower curtain didn’t cover the bottom of the shower so water goes all over the floor. Power points inaccessible and needed the two supplied power boards to plug in jug, desk lamp and phone charger. Not an ideal situation, nor safe. At least the shower water pressure was good as well as the air conditioner. Little relationship to the pictures on the internet.

The location is very convenience to reach,it is just cross the street from the subway exit. The staffs are friendly. The room is small,there is no table to write, neither a chair to sit.There was the bathroom leaking from down under the tiles after taking a shower.

Great location. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

First, the good bits...the staff were friendly, and access was superb: just across the road from the railway station, perhaps a thirty minute stroll to central Sydney, a comprehensive supermarket just across the road, and heaps of fantastic restaurants and fast food outlets very close by. But our room was very crude: with the bed jammed against the wall, no room to stand beside it, and the toilet/separated from the main room by a flimsy shower curtain. Nothing quite like hearing your partner's every movement (!) There were no horizontal surfaces for suitcases, phone chargers, the electric jug (provided) or any stuff: teh TV ended up draped with clothes, with bags, with bits and pieces> It was just too crammed, too poorly designed: a couple of shelves and a TV wall bracket would have lifted it considerably. Shabby-chique was the idea behind the sloppy/garish paintwork, the tiles, the light fittings...it didn't work for the distaff side of our party! And...you get what you pay for. The (shared) kitchen facilities were cramped but adequate...three at a time would be max, and the place caters for 14 couples from memory. Hmmm. But the A/C was appreciated, and, as I said, location couldn't be bettered for this camper. It wasn't noisy at night: despite the Kings Cross location...don't believe that Potts Point address! Would I go back? No...but I wasn't desperately unhappy.

It was as good as you can expect for the price I paid Was close to everything I needed

Honestly the best budget accomodation I’ve stayed in . Clean bedding, decent air con, friendly staff and quiet . I will be back

The location is very strategic as it is only 30 meters away from the train station across the street.
