The MT Hotel

The reception staff was really nice to me and my family. The rooms were big and comfortable, the only problem was that the shower didn't throw enough water.

Property on the outside looks very nice Location very good Service was bad My shower was not working and they were incapable of offering another room Rooms are outdated need upgrade BADLY

This is a very nice and quiet location with spacious rooms.

Room was comfortable and clean. There were some minor maintenance issues in the roome that need to be addressed. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast could be better.

No towels or soap. Breakfast selection was poor snd cold

The property is rather beautiful to be honest. The groundskeepers are always around taking care of the plants you see all over the place at this hotel or cleaning the pool which is really pretty. The room had working Air conditioner and a working television with local channels. The bathroom even had plants in it and nice shower with warm water everyday even though it’s very warm and there is no need to use hot water everyday. The bed was the issue when I pulled back the sheets it was loaded with lots of hair as if someone tried to cover it up verses using all new clean linen. The bed sheets were also stained. The staff that checked me in was super pleasant but when Someone called my room to ask if I was ok I asked for new linen to change my bed and the person asked me to come back around to the front counter. He said he would get me new linen and made a call for me to the tour guide that they have on site but then he began flirting and continued to play on my phone the rest of the evening which to be honest I absolutely didn’t appreciate because I had to be up early in the morning for a tour. Aside from this one who staff persons lack of professionalism and the dirty bed I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed my stay and would stay again if possible to avoid such a staff member. The restaurant attached to the hotel is awesome with awesome staff and delicious food. The free breakfast in the morning includes fresh fruit cereals fresh baked breads yogurt eggs meat and made to order!

Complete mix up with our booking. They only receive bookings from Expedia so our reservation was unknown to them, so our deluxe pool suite was not allocated or saved for us. We stayed in a normal pool room as the suites were unavailable. The place and setting is nice but seems when things break, they’re not replaced. Breakfast was a total shambles. When food run out, it wasn’t replaced until someone reported it, and then you had to wait for it to be cooked. The staff just don’t care. We ended up getting upgraded to the penthouse suite on day 2 and 3 as the suite I booked and payed for was given to someone else. Again, due to poor maintenance staff, the suite wasn’t exactly in its best condition plus missing ironing board. Only 1x Iron in the Hotel, is it too much to ask for to have basic facilities in each room? Would it hurt to make sure everything works in each room? Or even replace missing lights bulbs? Perhaps at this place it is. Shame really because the Hotel is nice, just let down by bad management not caring if their staff do or know their jobs..

You get what you pay for. Overall I’d give this place a 2/5. Pros: spacious room, breakfast available (even if it isn’t appetizing), free wifi, nice little shops around the area, amazing food options within a 10 min walk, Lucy is amazing! Cons: we couldn’t run our shower for too long without it flooding the room (eventually they fixed it), the ac leaked coolant, lack of options for the free breakfast, pillows weren’t clean, mini cooler kept everything warm, lacked basic necessities like soap, shampoo, etc It’s a nice spot and like 10 min motorcycle ride to the beach. There’s absolutely no way you can spend the whole day in the hotel room.

The pool was not available was remodeling and I was not informed. Too bad!
