End of season so hotel showing signs of wear Still very quiet and relaxing Clean and staff helpful

No shops around hotel. Hotel restaurant not showing menus,close very fast. If restaurant close no place to eat...have to go buy some food by car.

Our 4th time at Nirvana and we have been thrilled about the little touches that made Nirvana feel like Nirvana. However, all these aspects have gone. I don’t mind ripped towels or ants in the bathroom but I do mind staying in a place that is literary falling apart. The entire resort is in an advanced stage of decay where maintenance is hard to spot. Pool decks are falling apart along with loungers, railing and tables. We are well aware that things are less busy in the low season but it has always been possible to get cocktails at the pool bar but no more; instead we could buy beer at the restaurant. Breakfast used to be awesome with homemade jams and freshly baked gourmet bread but has been replaced by white toast and portion wrapped jams. The sunset deck has been closed; I understand repairs are necessary but please update the website, so that guests don’t expect this (the old restaurant on the water is also still advertised on the website). The hammocks outside the bungalows have gone and the cosy lamps outside have been replaced by naked light bulbs. I must admit that the rate has been considerably reduced to reflect the state of Nirvana but I would rather pay 2 or 3 times as much for a Nirvana in a decent condition. The location and potential of Nirvana is still awesome and it could be such an amazing place. I would love to see Nirvana being brought back to its former glory but unfortunately I don’t think this is going to happen. Goodbye Nirvana, - sadly we won’t be back.

Sehr grosszügige Bungalows. Schön mit Holz eingerichtet. Pool mit Meersicht. Leckere Menüs im eigenen Restaurant.

Hyggeligt sted med god placering, med hav på begge sider, hvis man ønsker ro og afslapning. Virker mere autentisk i denne ende af Koh Chang. Skøn pool og god frisklavet morgenmad. Bang Bao pier ligger i gåafstand med mange gode restauranter og transport til andre øer. Fede værelser i stor størrelse, dog ved at være lidt slidt i kanterne. Nemt og hjælpsomt personale. Kan klart anbefales.

Nirvana resort har været en skøn oplevelse i rigtig thai resort stil. Fantastisk eksotisk stil og område, midt i junglen og med hav på begge sider. Dog lidt slidt, men det skader ikke helhedsoplevelse. Meget afslappet atmosfære og placeret i et stille område men kort afstand til flere gode restauranter omkring bang bao molen.

Værelse og personale er meget fint. Til gengæld er belægningen på poolområdet meget mangelfuld med søm og skruer som stikker op alle vegne - lidt farligt. Meget træværk og vedligelse af bygninger trænger til en kærlig hånd. Det flyder med affald på land og vand alle vegne. Der er ingen der tager initiativ til at ryde op. Lidt langt til stranden men gratis transport en gang dagligt.
