Sasaki Apartments

Please remember that these apartments are budget apartments, so I will not hold them to the same standards as luxury accommodations. That being said the room was decent. I had two double beds, a sofa, small kitchen. There is a stovetop to cook on, a full size fridge, microwave,no oven however. There is an ice machine on site. The office hours are very sporadic... but for the most part there was always someone there when I needed it. They give you beach towels for a deposit. Last day there, the lady wasn’t too friendly or accommodating about holding my luggage, telling me the office closed at 2, when the sign said 6. As for location... it’s quite a walk to the beach. You have to walk through the Eagle resort to get to the beach... there is a small little alleyway, that might be scary at night. The apartments are located right across from Super Foods which was super convenient. All in all it was a good stay, with good housekeeping. Just don’t expect the luxuries you’ll get at a resort and you’ll be fine.

The pricing on Expedia was supposed to be 28% cheaper to make you believe you are really getting it for a great price. When we got there and I checked their website there was absolutely no discount given on Expedia compared to their website. At that time Sasaki’s website pricing was lower than Expedia. Manager did not want to hear about it. Next I asked for a larger room and he said we would have to pay extra. I had already paid a couple of hundred more due to their misrepresentation on Expedia. I would like to see them held accountable for their deception on pricing.

Location was very good! Walk to the beach & easy to reach the bus if you want Togo downtown or Palm Beach

The apt complex is in front of SuperFood which is a supermarket with plenty of options to buy plus a restaurant, pharmacies, hair salon. The place is well mantained. It has a small kitchen with fridge full size, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and stove with no oven. Bathroom area is spacious. I had two double beds. It has 4 chairs with a table and a sofa. It has a grill area outside with tables and chairs. One seimming pool with palapas and plenty of chairs. Volleyball court and a restroom outside. Cleaning is done every day except on Sunday. They don't change towels every day but if you leave them on the floor they will change them. There's a walk path from Superfood to La Cabana resort and Amsterdam Manor resort, Eagle beach area. The street you need to cross is busy but cars stop to let you cross. The path to the beach is well iluminated at night. We crossed it at midnight with no problems. The beach is 5 min walk through the walking path from Superfood. I would go again, I loved it. I stayed 11 nights and it's really quiet. Pool area never crowded and it's open 24 hr.

It’s a great little apartment complex for a decent price. Aruba is expensive so I’d rather spend my money doing activities and eating out rather on a massive resort. Some people like to stay at someplace like the Riu which I believe is a waste of money. Sasaki is literally a 3 minute drive from the strip. My family and I loved that once you parked your car you didn’t have to walk through a massive hotel, wait for elevators, and brush through groups of people to get to our room. It was literally just past the gate. The supermarket is right across the street( busy street) but you can get groceries if need be. My daughter loved the pool as well! I personally believe anyone whose a seasoned Aruba traveler will find a place like sasaki to be more practical because of the price, size, and privacy from the Aruba time square while being exceptional close to everything. Will be returning for sure!

Ww had a wonderful vacation staying at Sasaki Apartments. The location is excellent. . It's across the street from the grocery store that's a real positive Only about a 10 minute walk to the beach or to catch a bus which will take you if you don't have a car. It's a small complex, 24 units I believe but we made several new friends there. It's quiet and safe. We definitely recommend Sasaki Apartments
