Blue Lake Casino & Hotel

I think this was one of the most bizarre stays I have ever had. I received a call the morning of check in - I was informed that at 3 am food service (all of the on-site restaurants) and the casino would be closing. That was fine as I didn't anticipate staying up and gambling and was leaving early in the morning. But after checking in I realized there was no towels in the room, no soap or shampoo, no hair dryer. I called the front desk and someone brought those items up. A little later realized there was no TV remote. Called the front desk and someone brought that to me. And, didn't realize until much later when I went to shower that there was no shower curtain on the tub/shower and the bathroom sink only had hot water available... even the cold somehow only was hot water. I did let management know when I checked out, but all they could do was say sorry!

Clean room, fast wi-fi, friendly service, plenty of free parking. Casino was right next door to hotel, easy access. Not in city , so it was private n didnt have random people roaming like sometimes city hotels do. Worth the extra dollars.

walls very thin i could hear the guy next to me snore all night and the guys above me party all night pool was a hit!

Customer service was poor. Both during check-in, and at Alice's restaurant. It was as if these two individuals were not trained at all, and not suited to customer service. In short, both were rude. These experiences kind of ruined my stay. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, amenities were nice. I was not there to gamble though. I recommend the hotel hire people who LIKE other people, and who treat them if not kindly, at least respectfully. Both individuals failed in this department.

My daughter was coming to stay with me on my last night, with her service dog. I checked on Friday night and Saturday morning that this was acceptable. When my daughter arrived the front desk informed her that her registered service animal did not qualify. My daughter provided the registry card for her dog that qualifies her under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Air Carrier Access Act and the Fair Housing Act. Her dog has been registered for over two years and serves her extreme anxiety. The dog has never been disallowed from any carrier, hotel or apartment she has rented. We did not stay at the hotel on our last night. I find it discouraging that your policy is in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Friendly staff good food

Hotel was very clean. The gentleman working the front desk was very friendly. No questions were asked when I told them I had a service dog.
