Falasarna Bay

An amazing experience awaits anyone fortunate enough to find their way to this beautiful bay! This hotel is a family business and hospitality and happiness greet every guest. The hard work and pride in the hotel is obvious everywhere you look...clean, modern furnishings and comfortable beds combine with an incredible view from the balcony to make this stay truly memorable. Fresh cakes and cookies were always made available to guests and special requests met if at all possible. Good WiFi and quiet, powerful air conditioning make room time a delight! Five stars!!

Great place as always. My big mistake was I must have booked annexe across the road instead of min building which is quieter and has better views and breeze. However was great place to stay again with staff and management superb. Will stay again in main building next time.

Lovely place very close to the beach and a couple of tavernas. There was a power outage a couple of times, but it affected the whole village so the property was not at fault.

Amazing hosts! Friendly and very accommodating! They recommended an amazing traditional Cretan taverna (Spillios) and booked our tickets on the Gramvousa/Balos beach boat trip. Our studio had an amazing view and was very spacious and clean. Beds were comfy.

Paradise!

Stunning location looking over the bay and sunset. Good sized balconies and such a peaceful setting. The management we’re so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Plenty of towels and the best hairdryer I’ve ever used outside a salon! Modern fridge with small freezer compartment. Cleaned daily and beds are made up too. If you’re lucky you’ll even be given free freshly baked cake every now and then. :) Shower was lovely and no issues with water being cold. Easy to park and some great eateries nearby (Orange Blue and Golden Sunset) if you don’t want to self cater the whole time. The living room was a bit cluttered with furniture; a large sofa; single bed plus table and chairs was just too much. Plus the kitchenette was tiny with little preparation area. Of course, this isn’t uncommon, however when cooking for a family it can get a little frustrating. It was a shame the bedroom and living room were that way round. It would be better to have the living area leading on to the balcony, rather than having to walk through bedroom to get there. Plus the bedroom gets far more light. The balcony and view is the focal point of the resort, yet we spent so much time at the opposite darker part of the apartment using the kitchenette. It wouldn’t stop me staying again however. In summary, a good apartment in a gorgeous unspoilt location, with stunning views, sounds and smells. Not great if you plan on doing a lot of self catering, but otherwise brilliant.

We had a great stay at Falasarna bag. It was very nit and practical with basic facilities. Great value for money. The property is close to 2 small beaches (within 5mins walk) and 15mins from Falasarna big beach. With kids it was very convenient to have access to the beach by short walk. We stayed there for a week with 2 very young children and we felt very welcome and well looked after by the property owner.
