Mistral Bay

We only stayed here for one night so decided to go for the most expensive - Panoramic room with sea view. For all of you instagrammers - perfect opportunity to get that amazing shot from the top, we stayed in 511 and the views were just amazing. But.... rooftop bar was disappointing as nails were sticking out of the floor right next to the sun loungers, basic drinks no cocktails, and breakfast was very average. I get that Cretan breakfast would be different of course but it just didn’t taste of anything. Wouldn’t stay here for a week!

everything was ok , beside there was not any option for hot water for drinking tea or coffee in room in the cold winter

Lovely place to stay.

Hotel and staff very good central to nice restaurants and coffee bars, only one thing not good for people with leg or knee problems lots of steps .

This is a 2 or 3 Star Hotel on a narrow street . Best aspect is proximity to town of Agios Nicolaus ; however , access is difficult with many steps ; also car parking in a disused undeveloped space is challenging . Breakfast disappointing . Room clean but small.

Hotel location is nice however the staff was not great, front desk person was unfriendly and not helpful, house keeping would sometimes not change the bed sheets and add towels, they just tidy it.. food is not great. No free Wifi, you have to pay

Stay here if you like pain

Do you like your staff rude, your wifi charged at extra cost, your bed like rocks, your pool so dirty you can’t see through the water and your breakfast rotting and stale? This is your place. At an excellent price of over 100 euros per night, this could be your dream holiday. But honestly I’m not even picky and I wanted to fling myself off my shared balcony.

Swimming pool is an exaggeration, there was a plunge pool by reception with a couple of sun beds to the side. Our dreamed of days by the pool were certainly not possible. The room balcony was tiny with not enough room to sit comfortably, it also was not cleaned during our stay. Breakfast was not appealing, we ate out even though it was included. Any requests made to reception were met with “No” Steps to the hotel are exhausting

Arrived 01 20am faced 6 flights of stairs extremely steep each with 10 steps no lift 2 large suitcases Night Porter help me with one. Room extremely small balcony less than metre widex2 metres long 2 small stools but part was taken up by air condition tank so only one could sit out at the time.Room very clean. Went to breakfast once awful..The website for this Hotel false impression given of size.Wont be using Expedia again because of lack of important information given.

Surprise visit to see my brother

My wife and I travelled to Crete to surprise my brother, who lives there,for his 60th birthday. The Mistral Bay was one of the few hotels open so early in the year. We received a warm welcome on arrival. Our 5th floor room was lovely with a view of the sea from our balcony. Buffet breakfast each morning was more than adequate-only complaint,coffee from machine not strong enough but I found a way of sorting that! All the staff were saw were friendly and we loved the way our nightclothes were folded everyday. Would certainly stay there again!

Hôtel bien situé avec un parking gratuit. Personnel sympa excepté la personne au petit déjeuner assez désagréable. Chambre spacieuse, propre, bien équipée et confortable. Bonne wifi et petit déjeuner correct.
